Hospital denies 14-year-old girl transplant because she’s unvaccinated

According to the family of Yulia Hicks, 14, Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham, North Carolina refused to add their daughter to its kidney transplant waiting list, because she was unvaccinated for COVID, the Daily Wire reports. Yulia, who is adopted from Ukraine, suffers from a genetic kidney disorder that requires daily dialysis. Her parents added that Yulia had already caught COVID, and would have gained natural immunity from that, but alleged that the hospital still refused, stating she needed to have the COVID vaccine. “Some studies have shown that natural immunity is superior to the COVID vaccine,” Mairead Elordi added in her article for the Daily Wire. “One recent study also suggested that the COVID vaccine could be to blame for certain organ transplant recipients rejecting their new organs.” READ: Duke Children’s Hospital Denied 14-Year-Old Girl Kidney Transplant Over Covid Vaccine, Family Says

Austria is passing a law requiring all citizens to be vaccinated

In what can only be described as alarming, the Austrian government is passing a law that would require all citizens to be vaccinated for COVID by Feb 1, 2022. There will probably be exemptions due to age and medical conditions. The country has a population of 9 million people and about two million are unvaccinated. The Daily Mail writes: Austria’s fully-jabbed rate currently stands at 66 per cent, slightly above the European average of 62 per cent but below the theoretical level of 70 per cent needed for herd immunity. It reported 15,809 new cases Friday – another one-day record – with an infection rate of 990.7 per 100,000 over the last week, one of Europe’s highest. Austria’s Chancellor, Alexander Schallenberg, believes this law is constitutional, though many are suggesting it is not. Some believe such a requirement would also violate European Union laws. There was no mention of what the penalties will be for those who refuse the vaccine, but it would likely involve a fine. One opposition party stated that Austria ‘is now …

Does the COVID virus spread from computer to computer?

I know there are viruses that can cause considerable damage to a person’s computers, but I never thought COVID was one of them. But Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey has taken the COVID restrictions to the next level, as it has just banned a student from taking online classes because he wasn’t vaccinated. According to the New York Post, Logan Hollar, 22, recently discovered he was locked out of his account at Rutgers when he tried to pay for his online classes. The reason that Rutgers gave for banning him from taking virtual classes that he would view on his computer is because he had not been vaccinated. Hollar lives 70 miles from Rutgers, and apparently breathing on a computer screen without a mask miles away from where it is being hosted is now considered a potential threat to spread the virus. There is an appeals process available for students claiming a vaccine exemption, but Rutgers states that takes weeks to process. Meanwhile, Hollar, who has already missed the sign-up date for his …

Doctor says he won’t treat unvaccinated patients

The Blaze is reporting that a doctor in Alabama recently put up a Facebook Post, that he would no longer be treating patients who are not vaccinated for COVID, because in his words COVID was a horrible way to die. Of course, people immediately asked if this also meant he would no longer be treating people if they: Smoked, Are trying to quit smoking, Take drugs, Eat too much food (obesity), Drink too much alcohol, Don’t drink coffee, Eat too much sugar (diabetes), Eat too much fatty foods (high cholesterol), Don’t exercise, Exercise too much, Watch too much TV, Eat junk food, Go for a healthy walk in the forest, Play football, Don’t eat enough fibre, Swim in the ocean, Spend too much time on social media, Eat too much red meat, and in Canada Drive cars, because in a typical year, more people under the age of 65 die in motor vehicle accidents than of COVID. Not surprisingly, the Facebook post has since been deleted. READ: Doctor says he won’t treat unvaccinated patients dying …

Covid and Privacy

Many people ask me if I have been vaccinated. Since I have been vaccinated in my childhood for diseases such as polio, I could honestly say yes. If people ask, and they do, if I have my Covid vaccines, well that’s a different story. I consider my personal health records private. There are other things I consider private as well like my credit information and alarm codes for security systems. Not too many people would come up to me and ask me for my credit card number. It’d be none of their business. Fewer still would randomly ask me the alarm codes for the church. Why would they? It would be something that does not concern them and it would be stupid of me to share c=such vital information. The COVID vaccine, which as a matter of my personal health record, ought to be in the same category as none of your concern or your business. But the people who demand an answer to this question believe their need to know outweighs my right to …

Some COVID good news, for a change

There may be some good news on the COVID front as an Israeli doctor reports that the second jab from the Pfzer vaccine is so effective, he wonders if it will not only prevent people from getting sick, but may actually increase a person’s immunity so much it prevents them from spreading the virus. The Daily Mail explains: Pfizer‘s Covid vaccine could produce a strong enough immune response to stop people who get the jab from spreading the coronavirus, a doctor in Israel has claimed. Researchers found in a small study that recipients of the jab developed up to 20 times more antibodies within a week of having the second dose of the jab. Higher levels of antibodies likely lead to a stronger immune response which could clear the virus before someone has a chance to spread it, but this is still not proven. Until now, scientists didn’t know whether vaccines would stop transmission and were banking only on it preventing severe illness and death. Pfizer itself has not published any data showing how the jab …

Communist China claims its vaccines are ‘good enough’

When Communist China released its COVID vaccine to the world, it initially claimed it was 80% effective in comparison to US and European vaccines that were running at around 94% effective. However, when Brazilian authorities tested the vaccine they found it to be only 50% effective, China’s reaction to the news suggests that they probably already knew that.

Who is trying to sabotage COVID vaccine shipments to Canada?

According to British Columbia’s minister of health, Dr. Bonnie Henry, the RCMP and Canadian military are now protecting COVID vaccines being sent to Canada because credible sources suggest someone is trying to sabotage the shipment. The Pfizer vaccine that Canada has ordered requires extreme-cold storage and will be kept at two heavily secured sites in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada’s westernmost province.

Good news: Second COVID vaccine is 94.5% effective

There is another ray a hope about the coronavirus. Moderna Inc. just announced it has a vaccine that tested nearly 95% effective for providing immunization against COVID-1984 and it could be ready by the end of the year. Newsmax writes: Moderna Inc. said Monday its experimental vaccine was 94.5% effective in preventing COVID-19 based on interim data from a late-stage clinical trial, becoming the second U.S. company in a week to report results that far exceed expectations. Together with Pfizer Inc’s vaccine, also shown to be more than 90% effective, and pending more safety data and regulatory review, the United States could have two vaccines authorized for emergency use in December with as many as 60 million doses of vaccine available by the year’s end. Next year, the U.S. government could have access to more than 1 billion doses just from the two vaccine makers, more than needed for the country’s 330 million residents. COVID vaccine coming and plummeting death rates

There is good news on a couple of fronts. First Pfizer reveals that it may have a COVID vaccine available by the end of November that could be upwards of 90% effective. There is a bit of a “but” there, but still good news. The Daily Wire writes: The pharmaceutical company Pfizer says that its developmental vaccine for COVID-19 may be 90% effective at inoculating people against the disease. The company announced the news in a statement issued Monday morning. The rate of effectiveness was calculated by analyzing early data from 94 trial participants in a study involving 43,538 subjects from all over the world. The small early sample means that the protection rate could change by the time the study ends and all the participants are accounted for, according to The Associated Press.
