A recent study in Israel revealed the impact the vaccine would have on reducing the COVID death rates if the government vaccinated according to age. Note those over the age of 70 account for 10.5% of Israel’s population but represent 75% of the COVID deaths.
- Vaccinate those over the age of 90, the COVID death rate falls 19%.
- Vaccinate everyone over the age of 80, the COVID death rate falls by 50%.
- Vaccinate everyone over the age of 70, the COVID death rate falls by 76%.
Vaccinating a Israel’s whole population is a massive job, but simply targeting the most vulnerable is easily achievable, with maximum impact.
As Arien Kolver.com explains:
Let’s assume the vaccine is 95% effective at preventing death from Covid-19. In reality it might be higher than this, because it seems like the 5% vaccinated people who do get Covid-19 have less severe symptoms, but it’s a reasonable assumption.
With just the 51,000 over-90s vaccinated, which is around 0.5% of Israel’s population, the total risk of fatalities from Covid-19 drops a huge 19%.
Expanding vaccination to all over-80s would only require 273k people to be vaccinated, but would more than half the fatality risk of the virus.
By the time we’ve vaccinated all over-70s, we’ll be up to 76% lower fatality risk with just 735,000 people vaccinated.

But meanwhile in the US, it seems like some don’t want to stop the pandemic. Perhaps unelected bureaucrats are enjoying their power trip too much. READ: Tulsi Gabbard: ‘Heartless, Arrogant, Unelected CDC Bureaucrats’ Giving Vaccine to Healthy Americans Before Elderly
Many are questioning why governments are locking down whole countries and destroying their economies, when in reality it is the elderly and those with underlying health conditions who are most vulnerable to COVID. These are the people that need to be targeted and protected, not the healthy.
