How Trudeau turned Canada into a third world nation

With Canada becoming the COVID capital of the world due to Prime Minister Trudeau’s failure to order vaccines, by February 2021, Canada was forced to plunder vaccine supplies intended for developing nations.

The National Post explains:

It’s now becoming increasingly clear that as the world mobilizes to immunize itself against COVID-19, Canada is falling seriously behind. At a time when more than half of Israelis have gotten the jab, Canada has only two per cent of its population vaccinated. Recent analysis by The Economist found that while virtually all of Europe will be fully vaccinated by the end of this year, the earliest Canada can hope for is mid-2022. And in one of the sharpest rebukes to Canada’s pandemic performance yet, the federal government has tapped into a global vaccine-sharing pool initially meant for developing nations.

And even the international media is starting to notice Trudeau’s incompetence. In an article for the Toronto Sun, Brian Lilley writes:

It started with a piece last Friday in the Wall Street Journal titled “Canada’s Vaccine Rollout Lags Behind as Cases Rise.” That was followed Monday by a special report aired on CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper which was critical of Trudeau’s handling of the pandemic.

The Daily Mail also reported how Trudeau tried to deflect blame by pointing at Britain’s vaccination failure. FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: It’s never smart to compare your failed vaccine record with a country that has one of the best vaccine rollouts rates in the world.

So what is behind Canada’s vaccine failure?

Dare I say it’s due to Trudeau’s unhealthy obsession with the Chinese Communist Party.

While the rest of the world was working with legitimate vaccine manufacturers, Trudeau and his army of health bureaucrats were trying to haggle a deal with the Chinese People’s army for the Communist regime’s COVID vaccine.

The National Post provides the details”

Let’s go back to April of 2020. The world is still very much in the first wave of COVID-19, and governments around the world are scrambling to find some way to get back to normal. On May 6, the Government of Canada announces a deal with CanSino, a Chinese company that was developing what was then one of the world’s most promising vaccine candidates.

The arrangement was that Canada would conduct human trials for the CanSino vaccine and then, once it was approved, we’d manufacture it within our own borders.

But there’s just one problem. When CanSino tried to send Canada its first shipments of the vaccine, it was arbitrarily blocked at the border by Chinese authorities. Why? Probably retaliation for Canada’s arrest of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou for extradition to the United States.

Thankfully, the Communist regime pulled out of the deal at the last moment or Canadians may have been forced to take a vaccine that even the Chinese people don’t trust.
