Major review of Australia’s response to COVID concluded lockdowns and school closures were a big mistake

A major independent review of how different levels of Australian governments responded to the COVID pandemic through lockdowns and the closing of schools and borders has concluded their response was a HUGE MISTAKE and cause unmeasurable damage. The review was led by Peter Shergold, who currently serves as Western Sydney University chancellor, and is well respected by people on all sides of the political spectrum. The review came to this conclusion after consulting over 200 experts from all fields including health and epidemiology, Writing for news.com.au, Joe Hildebrand provides more details: Lockdowns were wrong. School closures were wrong. Border closures were wrong. Poor people were hurt the most. These are the findings of the first and so-far only full inquiry into Australia’s response to Covid, an independent review funded by three major philanthropic organisation and headed by Peter Shergold, previously the most senior public servant in the country and now Western Sydney University chancellor — an eminent and highly qualified mind deeply respected on both sides of politics. ‘A new age of Christian persecution’

Earlier, this month an Australian businessman, Andrew Thorburn, was appointed president of the Essendon Football Club, a successful professional rugby-rules football club, based in Melbourne. The very next day, he was forced to resign not by anything he said or did, but after it came to light that he was also chair of the City on a Hill, an evangelical Anglican church in that city. After stories surfaced on how the church’s pastor had preached a sermon nine years earlier revealing his disapproval of sex outside of marriage, abortion or homosexuality, a left-wing hateful mob rose up demanding Thorburn’s dismissal. It was technically guilt by association because though Thorburn had never personally expressed those views, he was guilty because the pastor of the church he attended did. There is no room for dissenting opinions in the new progressive cult trying to dominate society. In an article for Evangelical Focus, David Robertson pointed to a headline by the Herald Sun, that read, “Essendon’s chief executive Andrew Thorburn has stepped down after shock link to church was …

Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is roaring back

Remember a few years back, rabid environmentalists were telling the world that global warming was killing off Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Apparently, the Great Barrier Reef is roaring back, the Australian Institute of Marine Sciences (AIMS) reports. In fact, it is in the best shape it’s been in 36 years. Breitbart explains: Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is doing just fine with vast sections defying every forecast of impending doom made by climate catastrophists over the past 30 years, a report Thursday outlines. Coral cover on two-thirds of the iconic reef, which is seen as a bellwether of ocean health, has reached its highest level since records began 36 years ago, according to marine scientists monitoring the ecosystem. In defiance of the Global warming propaganda, the AMS described the reef as healthy and flourishing, but keeping with the global warming propaganda added that the prognosis for the coral reef was still “‘very poor’ due to ‘climate change.’” “This echoes news outlets like the Washington Post which in 2017 published a piece that outlined, “An ecological catastrophe is unfolding off Australia’s …

Australian officials literally calling for ‘New World Order’

People living in Australia faced some of the most Draconian lockdowns in the world, perhaps second only to Communist China, as some left-wing premiers turned into tyrants. But even with this, most were shocked when two senior health officials with the state of New South Wales (NSW), blatantly admitted the state was moving towards a ‘New World Order.’

Australia’s mouse plague, not for the squeamish

If you “hate those meeses to pieces” like Jinx the cat did in a Hanna Barbara cartoon from decades back, then definitely don’t watch the video. Apparently, Australia is going through a mouse plague that regularly shows up every ten or so years. However, many farmers are saying this year’s mouse plague is the worst ever seen.

Meet Fregon, Australia: A No-police utopia

With BLM and left-wing extremists such as Antifa calling for the complete defunding of police, a story emerges of a small town called Fregon, located in Australia’s outback, that does not have a police force. It has transformed itself into an idyllic, utopian community where people build metal cages to protect certain members of the community and others describe the town as “completely lawless.”

Totalitarians down under

During the Cold War, Communist East Germany had to build a wall to stop people from fleeing their communist utopia to freedom loving West Germany. The communists built guard towers and used search lights. Australia’s State of Victoria, population 6.7 million, has just implemented a hard lockdown because it had 670 new COVID cases. As part of this lockdown, it is against the law for people to travel in cars more than 5 km from their home, so they can’t even legally flee this totalitarian utopia. Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews, who is described as a “radical leftist,” is using high-tech surveillance to stop people from escaping. WND explains: (SUMMIT NEWS) – Authorities in Melbourne, Australia will use high-tech surveillance drones to catch people outside not wearing masks as well as to scan for vehicles that are in violation of curfew by being more than 5km from home. “High powered drones will be used to find people not wearing masks and cars too far from home,” according to a 7News Melbourne news report. The drones will …

PARADISE LOST: Meet Melbourne’s dystopia utopia?

If you want to know what dystopia looks like visit Melbourne, the capital city of the state of Victoria, located in the southeast corner of Australia. The state has a population of 6.7 million people and it recently reported 671 new covid cases. However, as one Melbourne journalist reported, the number of new cases happened as the city doubled the number of people being tested. Nevertheless, at the insistence of the state’s health officials, here are a few rules imposed by the state’s premier, Daniel Andrews, who has been called a radical leftist: A full curfew was put in place and only people with proper paperwork are allowed out of their homes between 8 pm and 5 Am. During the day people can only leave their homes for essential shopping or work. However, only one person is allowed to go out at a time. Police are doing spot checks of homes to ensure people are obeying the curfews. They can enter homes without a warrant. Facemasks are mandatory, even while outside. Churches, of course, are …

China’s Communist regime goes rogue?

According to reports, China’s communist regime has allegedly launched a massive cyberattack against Australia. The attacks have targeted government agencies, businesses and critical infrastructure. The Daily Mail reports: China was today blamed for a massive cyber-attack on Australia amid an escalating feud between the two nations.  . Australian PM Scott Morrison said the country was under attack from a ‘sophisticated state-based actor’ targeting companies, hospitals, schools and government officials. . Mr Morrison did not name the country, but government sources say there is a ‘high degree of confidence that China is behind the attacks’. … … Security chiefs say the hackers are using the so-called ‘spear-phishing’ method to steal sensitive login details by sending scam emails, and carrying out regular ‘reconnaissance’ to find weak points in Australia’s defences. So why has the country’s despot, President Xi Jinping, allegedly gone rogue? Many suspect Jinping is upset that Australia is calling for an investigation into China’s role in covering up the Coronavirus. Some believe the Communist regime is trying to bully Australia into bending the knee. But …

Should “Climate Change” be listed as the cause of death?

According to an article on Breitbart, two doctors, Arnagretta Hunter and Simon Quilty, from the Australian National University Medical School are demanding governments list “Climate Change” as the official cause of death on death certificates, if a person died from heat stroke in that country. According to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald there have been 340 deaths officially attributed to heat stroke in Australia over the past 11 years adding: “[B]ut statistical analysis by two doctors [Hunter and Quilty] with the Australian National University shows that 36,765 could have been attributed to heat.” “Climate change is a killer, but we don’t acknowledge it on death certificates,” co-author Arnagretta Hunter, from the ANU Medical School, said. Note the “could have been,” as this and similar terminology is often used to promote a particular agenda. READ: Doctors Push for ‘Climate Change’ to Be Recorded on Death Certificates AND Climate change should be recorded on death certificates, doctors argue Epidemiologist Neil Ferguson used a similar word when he said that 2.2 million people “might” die in …

Good news in Australia as new COVID-19 infections fall

The Daily Mail is reporting that Australians are calling for country’s lockdown to be lifted, because over the weekend four territorial capitals did not report a single new case of COVID-19. This included the city of ACT with a population of 400,000 that hasn’t had a single new case for six days in a row. There has been a dramatic decline in new cases of COVID-19 in Australia as demonstrated in the chart below provided by Peter Collignon, a professor at Australian National University’s medical school. The light blue graph shows the rapid decline in reported new cases. The dark blue line reveals the cumulative cases is also starting to flatten out. But despite this, some are demanding the lockdown become more restrictive and even extended since it is working so well. However, in an article in the Sydney Morning Herald, Professor Peter Collignon said the restrictions need to be reduced warning: ‘Not only will this cause unwarranted and increased social, mental and economic harm, we run the bigger risk that substantial parts of our …

Australia has its first Pentecostal Prime Minister

Over the weekend, the Australian Liberal party elected Scott Morrison. 50, as Prime Minister of Australia after the party’s leader Malcolm Turnbull resigned on Friday after realizing he no longer had the majority support of his party. Morrison won the nomination in an election run off with two other contenders. Prior to becoming Prime Minister, Morrison served as the country’s treasurer, social services minister and minister in charge of immigration and border protection. In Australia, the Liberal party is considered a center-right party with its main opposition the Labour party considered center left. There has been a lot of political upheaval in Australia recently as Morrison will be Australia’s sixth Prime Minister in the past 10 years. What makes Morrison’s nomination interesting is that he is Australia’s first openly Pentecostal Prime Minister. He and his family regularly attend Horizon Church, a 2,200 member Assemblies of God church in Sydney, Australia. He grew up in a Christian family and according to Reverend Ray Green, the pastor of the church his family attended, as a teenager, Morrison …

Australia warns of a nasty flu season

If reports coming out of Australia are correct, this year’s flu season in the Northern Hemisphere could be particularly nasty. Of course, Australia is just finishing off its winter when the flu bug becomes the most prominent, and we in the north are just entering our winter season. A report on an Australian news site says this year was particularly bad with a record-setting 172,247 reported cases of the flu. Australia’s immunization Coalition (IC) states this is 156% higher than the number reported last year at the same time. IC suspects that this year’s estimate is undoubtedly low because the health system is under such stress they are behind in their reporting. It is uncertain what the final count will be. Doctors are also describing the flu as a “super strain” meaning it is more potent than what they had seen in the past. The elderly and very young are particularly vulnerable. So far doctors have recorded 288 deaths due to the flu, but again this is probably low. They advise people to get the …
