Did Democrat Senator issue a call to arms against the pro-life movement?

Some are accusing Hawaii’s Democrat Senator, Mazie Hirono, of issuing a call for violence against pro-life groups in a speech in the US Senate on Wednesday, Sept 14, 2022. The Blaze provides the details: Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii said she was issuing “literally a call to arms” against the pro-life movement in a speech on the Senate floor Wednesday. “When I hear my colleagues talking about how, you know, it should be states’ rights, or government should not be telling us what to do, the word ‘hypocrites,’ it doesn’t even go far enough to call them out on what they’re doing,” said Hirono during her speech. “This is an outright attack on women in this country. That is how I see it.” […] Hirono ended her speech with the odd call to arms. “Madam president, I yield the floor, but clearly, you know, this is a — literally call to arms in our country, I yield the floor,” she concluded. Uncivilized

By Rick Renner

The material I am about to present concerns a subject that I normally wouldn’t write about. However, it provides a powerful illustration of the depravity Paul prophesied would occur during the last days (see 2 Timothy 3:2,3), and I believe it serves as a wakeup call to the Church. Sometimes we need a stark reminder of the rapid degeneration of society’s moral fabric that is occurring all around us at an ever-increasing rate so we don’t grow complacent and just “go with the flow” of society’s downward moral spiral. As the Church, we have a vital role to play in these perilous times as standard bearers of truth. So bear with me as I take on that role to share some disturbing but important information, and you will understand my point.

Former pro-life flight attendant successfully wins lawsuit over firing

A jury has awarded, former Southwest Airlines flight attendant, Charlene Carter, $4.5 million from the airline, which Carter alleges had fired her because of pro-life beliefs. She also won $950,000 in punitive damages from Local 556 of the Transport Workers Union. When Carter started working for Southwest Airlines in 1996, she had to join the union. In 2013, she quit her union membership because it was supporting activities, such as abortion, that violated her beliefs as a Christian. It was also using Carter’s union dues to support political causes that Carter did not support. Though no longer a member, as part of her employment with Southwest, Carter was still required to pay union dues. The problem started in 2017 when Carter found out that several members of the union, including its president, Audrey Stone, were attending a woman’s march in Washington, DC, that was sponsored by several pro-abortion groups. Seeing her union dues being used in such a manner, Carter posted comments on social media indicating her pro-life position and as well criticizing Stone and …

Ten stories from this week

Here are a ten news stories, that caught my attention, this past week. Prophetic word about draft, fulfilled in the very last pick in 2021 NFL draft Grant Stuard was an all-conference linebacker while playing for the University of Houston. His dad was in prison several times and his drug-addict mother worked strip clubs to feed her habit, leaving Grant to raise his four siblings. There had been hints he would be drafted in the 2021 NFL draft, and a friend even gave a prophetic word, that this would happen. But Grant was losing hope by the time the seventh and final round of the draft started. But Grant was picked by the NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the very last pick of the draft. Christian News: Chris Pratt, the Christian Taliban, Jane’s Revenge, Ex Mafia boss, exorcisms on the upswing, NHLer Josh Manson, Canadian military chaplains, and a mother’s prayer

Here is a brief round-up of some Christian news this past week: Christ Pratt talks about religion Hollywood actor Chris Pratt found himself in a bit of controversy this past week, when in an interview with Men’s Health, Pratt said that he was not religious, but added that he had a relationship with God. “I think there’s a distinction between being religious — adhering to the customs created by man, oftentimes appropriating the awe reserved for who I believe is a very real God — and using it to control people, to take money from people, to abuse children, to steal land, to justify hatred. Whatever it is,” Pratt explained. When asked if he attended Hillsong, which has found itself in a pile of controversy recently, Pratt said he attended Zoe Church in Los Angeles. Some lessons on spiritual warfare

Since the US Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade and returned the authority for abortions to state legislatures, there have been dozens of reactions by pro-abortionists that included throwing Molotov cocktails at pro-life centers. READ: Wisconsin anti-abortion group targeted in Molotov cocktail arson attack: police But perhaps the most revealing involved a group of Satanists and witches who launched spiritual attacks against a group of believers who had gathered to pray for peace across America outside the US Supreme Court after the ruling. These attacks included summoning demonic forces to come against those who were praying. Mike Staver, the CEO of Liberty Counsel, a Christian legal nonprofit that was actually a part of the court case that saw Roe vs Wade overturned, described the scene. “Black-robed men and women began arriving on the scene, screaming obscenities over the prayers,” Staver reported. “A pro-abortion demonstrator brought a wagon carrying a large boom box blaring satanic ‘music’ and noise. A woman walked right up to our podium and stood next to the pro-life speaker.” “Every time the pro-lifer spoke, …

A few reactions to the overturning of ‘Roe vs Wade’

Pro-abortion extremists are continuing their rampage after the US Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade, leaving state legislatures in control of abortion legislation. It also had similar words painted on the outside walls, “If abortions aren’t safe neither are you.” But in addition, it also had the letter A inside a circle written on the wall, a symbol for anarchists. REJECTION

One of the most difficult challenges a person can experience is rejection and in a recent article in The Epoch Times, Dawn Milberger, 55, shared her story. Dawn had been adopted into a Christian family, and it wasn’t until she was 18 that she discovered the full story of what had happened, when she finally tracked down her birth mother. It was then she discovered that her mother, with the aid of a nursing friend, tried to abort Dawn several times in the first seven months of pregnancy, before eventually giving birth. Her mother’s friend provided abortion-inducing drugs that she stole from the office where she worked. After telling the story, her birth mom pleaded for Dawn to forgive her. This was the ultimate form of rejection and for the next several months, Dawn struggled as anger began building in her heart over the rejection. But with the help of her adoptive parents, Dawn worked through her emotions to forgive her mother. “He can’t build on us if we have unforgiveness on us. Unforgiveness cannot …

Jane’s Revenge threatens more violence against pro-life groups

In a recent communiqué, the extremist pro-abortion group, Jane’s Revenge, is threatening more violence against pro-life groups, The Blaze reports. The Blaze provides more details about the threat: Days after a man was arrested outside U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home for allegedly planning to kill the justice, the pro-abortion anarchist group Jane’s Revenge published a new “communiqué” threatening pro-life organizations with a campaign of violence if they do not cease their operations. “Your thirty days expired yesterday. We offered an honourable way out. You could have walked away. Now the leash is off. And we will make it as hard as possible for your campaign of oppression to continue,” Jane’s Revenge states. “We have demonstrated in the past month how easy and fun it is to attack. We are versatile, we are mercurial, and we answer to no one but ourselves. We promised to take increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures. Rest assured that we will, and those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire …

Pro-abortion group targets Amy Barrett, her children and church

A radical, left-wing pro-abortion group has recently encouraged its supporters to target Supreme Court Justice Amy Barrett’s children, church and home, The Blaze reports. Ruth Sent Us, which is named after now deceased Supreme court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, issued its instructions through a Twitter post, which included photos of Barrett and the name of the church she attends. Ruth Sent Us is protesting the possibility that the Supreme Court may overturn Roe vs Wade, which would give state governments the final say on their abortion laws. The intimidation continues

With a leaked draft decision suggesting the Supreme Court is considering overturning the Roe vs Wade abortion law, some allege that left-wing and pro-abortion extremists are taking their intimidation of the Supreme Court Justices to the next level. The message, which included a photo of a billboard near the school where the children of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh attend, was posted on the same day Nicholas John Roske was arrested for allegedly plotting to kill Justice Kavanaugh. The Blaze reports: Ruth Sent Us, the far-left group that publicized the addresses of conservative-leaning Supreme Court justices, sent the family of Justice Brett Kavanaugh a “special message” on Wednesday. After announcing more protests outside the homes of Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito, Amy Coney Barrett, and Kavanaugh, Ruth Sent Us posted a picture of a billboard outside of the school where Kavanaugh’s daughters attend.“ A special message for Ashley Kavanaugh and your daughters — this billboard was on your school grounds. We feel for you,” the far-left org said. The group added that …

Armed man allegedly targeting Justice Kavanaugh arrested near his home

There are concerns that pro-abortionists are becoming increasingly violent after the leak of a Supreme Court draft decision that suggests it is considering overturning Roe vs Wade that forced US states to legalize abortions. The latest involves a man armed with a gun and knife arrested at 2 am (Wednesday, June 8, 2022), near Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s Maryland home, Fox News reports. Justice Kavanaugh is a conservative justice, who supports the US Constitution. The man’s name has not been released, but reports indicate he is in his 20s and from California. According to Supreme Court spokeswoman, Patricia McCabe, the man allegedly threatened Kavanaugh. Police officer vindicated after being punished for praying in front of an abortion clinic

The city of Louisville, KY just paid police officer, Matt Schrenger, $75,000 as part of a settlement after the city’s police force put the 13-year veteran on paid administrative leave, pending an investigation, for praying in front of an abortion clinic. According to CBN, in February 2021, Schrenger, who was off duty at the time, was with his dad when they bowed their heads and prayed in front of a closed abortion clinic one Saturday morning. Though in uniform, the decorated officer was wearing an overcoat that covered it up. His moment of prayer, which was caught by surveillance cameras, was condemned by pro-abortionists on social media. Though the resulting investigation by the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department (LMPD) resulted in Schrenger returning to work, with the help of the Thomas More Society, Schrenger sued the city and the LMPD in Oct 2021, for violating his constitutional rights. Poll reveals that most Gen Z and Millennials oppose abortion after a heartbeat detected

Though a slim majority, I was pleased that a recent poll revealed that the majority of Gen Z (born between 1999 and 2015) and Millennials (1981-1998) opposed abortion after a baby’s heartbeat was detected. The Christian Post reports that a pro-life organization, Students for Life, surveyed 853 individuals between the ages of 18-34 in early January. In the survey, the group was provided information that a baby’s heartbeat can be detected at 21 weeks and then asked if they supported abortion after this point. The poll found that 52% stated that abortions should be banned after 21 weeks, compared to 48% who said that abortions should still be allowed. In the same poll, the students were asked about their feelings on Roe vs Wade, the 1973 Supreme court case that legalized abortions across the US. Initially, 60% stated that they ‘very strongly’, ‘strongly’ or ‘somewhat’ supported Roe vs Wade. However, attitudes changed slightly after the pollsters provided the group with more information on the infamous court case. Overall support for Roe vs Wade dropped to …

Tolerant, left-wing agitators destroy pro-life display at Oxford

The talk of tolerance on universities is a bit of a joke. For many of those woke, left-wing students, it really means they only tolerate those who agree with their opinions. Such as what happened at Britain’s Oxford University, when in the name of tolerance, left-wing students destroyed a Christian pro-life display set up for Fresher’s Fair. Several brave left-wing anarchists decided to attack when there was only a single woman manning the display. The old saying, Cowards run in packs, seems applicable here. The Daily Mail reports that the attackers ripped down the posters and tried to throw the literature and pamphlets into the garbage. The intimidation tactics left the woman ‘frightened’ and ‘nervous’. The brave attackers backed away when Campus security showed up. Oxford University condemned the attack, telling students it strongly supported the principles of free speech. The Oxford Student Union also criticized the assault, but added it was forced to allow the pro-life display at the fair because of Oxford’s policy on free speech. Dem lawmaker calls for men to receive vasectomies after 3 children

According to Faithwire, a Democrat lawmaker in Pennsylvania has introduced a bill in the state legislature that would force men who have had either three children or are above the age of 40 (which ever comes first) to have a vasectomy. The bill introduced by Rep Chris Rabb (D), that refers to men as inseminators, requires them to have a vasectomy within six weeks of the birth of a third child. It would also give women who get pregnant the right to sue any man in violation of the above restrictions and also offers a $10,000 reward to any person who exposes a man in violation of the law. The proposed legislation was a mocking response to a bill recently passed in Texas prohibiting abortions after the baby has its first heart beat that typically takes place around the sixth week. Missing in all of this is any serious discussion on when life begins in the womb.
