Patrisse Cullors, the self-proclaimed trained Marxist, co-founder of Black Lives Matter and multi-million dollar home-owner, can now add another to her list of left wing accomplishments.
According to the Daily Mail, while speaking on a panel sponsored by Harvard University’s Human Rights Program in 2015, Cullors called for an end to Israel’s existence as a nation.
Unwittingly she exposed perhaps the single greatest impediment to a negotiated treaty between Israel and the Palestinians.
Cullors joins Hamas, a radical extremist organization that controls the Gaza Strip, that includes the extermination of Israel as part of its constitution:
“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”
Backed by Iran, Hamas has been involved in several conflicts with Israel including the most recent that Hamas started when it launched 1,200 missiles against Israel’s civilian population on Monday, May 10, 2021.
Many believe it is impossible to negotiate a lasting peace between Israel and Palestine until Hamas is either removed or it acknowledges Israel’s right to exist.
Several Middle Eastern countries have agreed to normalize diplomatic relationships with Israel, meaning they acknowledge Israel’s existence as a nation. This includes Egypt, Jordan and most recently United Arab Republic, Bahrain, Sudan, Oman, and Morocco.
The nation of Israel was created in 1948 and many believe its formation was a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy that prophesied Israel being restored as a nation (Amos 9:14-15; Ezekiel 37:10-14; Isaiah 66:7-8)
‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. (Ezekiel 37:21-22)
