Black Lives Matter (BLM) has become a national force in American politics since its start in 2012 after the shooting death of Trayvon Martin by a Neighborhood Watch volunteer, George Zimmerman. BLM also receives millions of dollars in donations annually. But now some are questioning where the money is going.
New York Magazine (NYM) is alleging that the Black Lives Matter organization used funds from the Black Lives Matter Global Network to purchase a 6,500 square foot (ca. 604 m²) house in California, valued at $6 million. Perhaps the bigger issue is that NYM also alleges that BLM organizers then tried to cover up the purchase.
Patrisse Cullors, the self-proclaimed trained Marxist, co-founder of Black Lives Matter and multi-million dollar home-owner, can now add another to her list of left wing accomplishments. According to the Daily Mail, while speaking on a panel sponsored by Harvard University’s Human Rights Program in 2015, Cullors called for an end to Israel’s existence as a nation.
Rashard Turner, who founded the local chapter of Black Lives Matter (BLM) in St. Paul, Minnesota, recently posted a video of why he is left the organization. It seems that once he was inside BLM, he learned its “ugly truth.”
According to a study by PhD candidate, Travis Campbell, though Black Lives Matter anti-police protests resulted in a 15% to 20% reduction in police killings in the cities where BLM protested. This was dramatically offset by an overall 10% increase in murder rates.
There appears to be more to this story about Black Lives Matter (BLM) cofounder, Patrisse Khan-Cullors who recently purchased a $1.4 million home near Malibu beach in California. Apparently, this isn’t the only home she purchased in the last four years and people in the BLM movement are now calling for an official investigation of Khan-Cullors, the self-proclaimed “trained Marxist.”

When Portland’s city council recently voted not to defund the police, left-wing anarchists attacked the home of one of the city’s commissioners who voted against the funding cut. The defeated motion would have seen another 7.3% cut from the police budget, that had previously been cut by $15 million in June.
