According to reports, Black Lives Matter (BLM) was founded in 2013 by Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, and Patrisse Cullors after the death of Trayvon Martin and acquittal of the man who shot him, George Zimmerman.

A recent video has surfaced from 2015 suggesting that the organization, with 40 offices around the world, may have deeper political motivations than just a concern for Black people.

Black Lives Matter doesn’t specifically note that they are Marxists on its website, but one of the organization’s creators admitted that they subscribe to Karl Marx’s ideology. In a newly resurfaced video from 2015, Black Lives Matter Global Network co-founder Patrisse Cullors reveals that she and her fellow BLM creators are “trained Marxists.”

“Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists,” Cullors said in the 2015 interview. “We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories.”

Of course, the bigger question is who trained them:
