Climate change caused the eclipse and New York earthquake?

The raging hysteria about climate change has just entered the bizarro stage, for those familiar with that old Superman alternate reality, where everything was the opposite. Good was bad, and ugly was beautiful, etc. On Monday, The View cohost, Sunny Hostin, blamed climate change for Monday’s eclipse and the 4.8 earthquake that rattled New York on Friday, April 5, 2024, Fox News reports. Yes, it seems that people driving SUVs are responsible for the moon blocking out the sun and causing massive shifting beneath the Earth’s surface. Though other members of The View quickly disagreed, a US Senate Candidate, Christina Amira Khalil, who also happens to be a member of the Green Party, tweeted that climate change was responsible for the earthquake that hit New York. “I experienced my first earthquake in NJ. We never get earthquakes,” Khalil wrote in the widely mocked viral tweet. “The climate crisis is real. The weirdest experience ever.” However, Hostin didn’t stop there, she went on to talk about the reaction of her makeup artist, when the Friday earthquake hit, …

New York and New Jersey were rocked by ‘an ancient crack in the Earth’s crust’ on Friday. Is it a sign of the times?

Study Finds is a website that keeps people in touch with the latest research from around the world. There was recently a curious article on the site that may be just a sign of the times. The article entitled, Did You Feel That? What To Do When An Earthquake Strikes, provided a list of dos and don’ts should an earthquake hit your area. It seems that earthquakes are starting to trend, and the publishers felt that this article would not only be of interest to its readers but also provide helpful information. Perhaps, it is no coincidence that the writer, Chris Melore, just happens to be from New York. Unlike California, New York is not known as an earthquake zone, at least it wasn’t until 2024. This year, New York City and the area including New Jersey have been hit with two earthquakes. The first took place on Jan. 2, 2024, when the region was shaken by a relatively minor, 1.7 magnitude earthquake. There were no injuries and deaths and no significant damage. But then …

Recent analysis states that nearly 75% of America is vulnerable to damaging earthquakes

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) recently released data showing that nearly 75% of America is vulnerable to potentially damaging earthquakes, MSN reports. USGS’ analysis is based on historical records and as well seismic reports. Not surprisingly, California, with its San Andreas Fault system, is included in the list of the most vulnerable states. However, there were some new additions to the report that was last released in 2018. This included its focus on the eastern side of America which cited New York, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and Boston as being vulnerable to earthquakes. In addition, the report also suggested that Hawaii and Alaska are susceptible. Over the last 200 years, 37 states have reported several 5-magnitude or greater earthquakes. The USGS study concluded that predicting earthquake events is extremely difficult, and its analysis should be looked upon as more of a forecast of potential earthquake activity. However, the Bible’s prophets were not so reluctant when it came to predicting earthquakes. Numerous Biblical prophecies reveal that earthquakes will play a major role in the Apocalyptic events associated …

Small earthquake rattles New York City

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. (Matthew 24:7 NASV) New York City and its 8.4 million residents were shaken by a small earthquake that hit the city on Tuesday, Jan 2, 2024, Todd Starnes reports. According to the US Geological Service, the 1.7 magnitude earthquake struck Roosevelt Island at about 6 in the morning. Though there were no injuries or damage, there were reports of several small explosions, buildings being shaken, and power outages across the city. There were also reports of manhole fires, suggesting that parts of the city’s underground electrical system had been compromised. According to an article by the Associated Press, there was also a 2.3 magnitude earthquake in the Maryland suburb of Washington DC at two in the morning the same day. Again there were no reports of injuries and damages, but the tremors were felt in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. A powerful 7.6 earthquake hit Japan on Monday, Jan 1, 2024 causing massive devastation, Yahoo News reports. According …

Did the prophet Joel predict a boiling river near Yellowstone Park?

There are strange things happening in America’s infamous Yellowstone Park and believe it or not, the prophet Joel and maybe even the Apostle John might have predicted it. One involves Yellowstone’s most famous geyser — Old Faithful. It normally erupts about every 74 minutes, but the times can vary from 60 to 100 minutes. It shoots spray and water about 140′ into the air and on a good day it can tower to 180′. Heated by the molten lava deep below, the water is hot. It has been measured at 204F (95.6C) and the steam at 350F. But in the video taken on the night of April 15, 2016, by the Geyser Observatory, Old Faithful is going off repeatedly. Other geysers are also suddenly appearing and shooting off. Though the video that was taken in the middle of the night, it looks like day because the ground is glowing: Commenting on the video, Kat Marin2016 said: This was insane! There are places steaming I have never seen steam before….and also note that the bright ground …

Archaeologists digging into Gath, the hometown of Goliath Photo: Flickr/orientalizing

The giant gates of Gath, Goliath’s home town, found

Archaeologists say they have discovered the ancient Philistine city of Gath, home to one of the Bible’s most notorious characters — a giant named Goliath. King David’s slaying of the Philistine Giant in 1 Samuel 17 with a sling is a metaphor today of overcoming incredible odds. And today archaeologists are also uncovering evidence the city and the giants living there were very real. Perhaps it was just a coincidence, but archaeologists from Bar Ilan University working at the Tell es-Safi site have not only uncovered pottery at the site with the name of Goliath etched on it, but recently announced they have found the massive gates to the city. They are considered the largest set of gates ever found, perhaps fitting for a city known for its giants. At this point they have just uncovered the top of the gates and massive walls and it will take several years to fully uncover the gates. However, the size of stones at the top suggest the walls were massive. Archaeologists have been working at the Tell …

US Geological Survey warns of the big ONE — a great earthquake

[by Dean Smith] In a recent report, the US Geological Survey (USGS) warns the chances of a great earthquake in California has increased by nearly 50%. Based on their analysis of geological faults, the USGS states the chances of a “great” earthquake of 8.0 or greater in the next 30 years has increased from 4.7% to 7%. Tom Jordan, Director of the Southern California Earthquake Center, states that the pressure on the tectonic plates that make up the San Andreas Fault is building increasing the likelihood of a massive quake. It is likened to increasing pressure on a spring that will at one point be released. Aside from a great earthquake, there is a 99% chance of an earthquake of 6.7 or higher over the next 30 years.

Record number of “great” earthquakes in April?

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) stated that April 2014 “easily” smashed the record for the most large earthquakes in one month since the Center started recording earthquakes in 1949. The earthquakes started abruptly on April 1, when a major one, 8.2 magnitude, hit Chile. The PTWC considers earthquakes greater than a 6.5 magnitude as large. During the month of April there were 13 major earthquakes. Though smaller earthquakes occur almost on an hourly basis on the earth, a normal month only averages between one and two large earthquakes exceeding 6.5. The PTWC noted that in April five of the earthquakes were greater than 7.8, resulting in tsunami alerts.

Revelation 6:12: The Great U.S. Earthquake?

I have been doing a study of Revelation 6:12-13, where in his vision of the apocalyptic end times, the Apostle John saw an angel opening the sixth seal:  I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. (Revelation 6:12-13 NASV) God gave four signs that would show the sixth seal has been opened: (1) The appearance of a “Blood Moon” (Read: Blood moons, a sign of the times?); (2) a Solar eclipse; (3) Stars falling from the sky (read: Is ‘blind luck’ all that is stopping the opening of the Book of Revelation’s sixth seal? )and (4) a great earthquake In this article, I want to turn our attention to the Apostle John’s vision of a “Great Earthquake.”
