The majority of Americans are starting to think that there is a politicized rogue element within the FBI that is working on behalf of President Joe Biden and the Democrat Party.

A recent poll by Rasmussen Reports states that 53% of people, who are likely to vote in this fall’s American election, believe elements of the FBI work as “Joe Biden’s personal Gestapo,” the Washington Examiner reports.

Rasmussen conducted the poll after the FBI’s raid of former President Donald Trump’s private residence in Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida on Monday, Aug 8, 2022. The majority of respondents agreed with this statement that “there is a group of politicized thugs at the top of the FBI that are using the FBI as Joe Biden’s personal Gestapo.”

Though 44% of those surveyed stated they had less trust in the FBI, a slim majority still held a favorable opinion of the agency.

When Rasmussen asked a similar question in December 2021, only 46% agreed that elements of the FBI worked as President Joe Biden’s personal thugs.
