Hypocrisy: BLM sides with Cuba’s communist tyrants?

When you hear about the people of Cuba taking to the streets demanding and end to oppression, you would expect that Black Lives Matter (BLM) would automatically side with their fellow protestors (many of them are black) who are being beaten, arrested and shot by Cuban police.

I mean, BLM is calling for police to be defunded in America and claims it is fighting oppression when it takes to the streets.

But apparently not.

For some strange reason, BLM is siding with the oppressors and has spoken glowingly about the wonderful Communist tyrannical regime governing the island nation.

According to the New York Post, many are seeing the irony including talk radio host, Dan O’Donnell who noted:

“So wait, they [BLM} support police brutality now? … group founded to counter police brutality can’t manage a word to criticize police brutality in Cuba.”

Fox News also reported on a statement, that BLM made in 2016 on the death of Fidel Castro:

“We are feeling many things as we awaken to a world without Fidel Castro. There is an overwhelming sense of loss, complicated by fear and anxiety. Although no leader is without their flaws, we must push back against the rhetoric of the right and come to the defense of El Comandante.”

Of course, I would be remiss, if we didn’t cite one of the founders of BLM, Khan-Cullors, who claimed she was a ‘trained Marxist:

Though not mentioned by name, Cullors is cited again in the following tweet:
