American actress Danica McKellar, who starred in The Wonder Years playing the role of Winnie Cooper, recently shared her journey to Christ in an interview with Candace Bure on her podcast, CBN reports.
McKellar, 47, also shared the important role that Bure played in McKellar’s decision to become a Christian, which included the gift of a small Bible that McKellar said she started reading every day.
In April of this year, McKellar shared on an Instagram that she had been skeptical about Christianity but then had reached out to Bure:
“It all started one evening when I was struggling with the idea of forgiveness and DM’d my good friend @candacecbure about a passage from the Bible she had read on her instastories, and then she sent me a Bible, and invited me to church.”
McKellar summed up the changes taking place in her life with these words:
“I can tell you I’m experiencing a relationship with God and Jesus that I’ve never had before, and it feels miraculous”
