Antifa tries to intimidate by vandalizing a San Diego church where Sean Feucht was scheduled to hold a New Year’s service

Members of the left-wing anarchist group, Antifa, vandalized a church in San Diego, California the night before worship leader, Sean Feucht was scheduled to hold a New Year’s Eve service, CBN reports. The outside walls of City View Church and its offices were spray-painted with several messages and threats against Christians and Sean including: Feucht added the police were called and treated it as a hate crime. City View Church, pastored by Troy Singleterry, is a multi-ethnic church that holds services in English and Spanish as well as services for the Swahili, Samoan and Ethiopian communities in their city. Sean made an interesting comment on Instagram in response to the attack which was obviously intended to intimidate the church. He noted that the church flourishes best under persecution. “The enemy making the age-old mistake.” Sean posted on Instagram. “Persecuting the Church won’t stop the gospel, it’ll spark a wildfire.” Many believe that two of the fastest-growing churches in the world are located in two countries where Christians are under attack by the government, Iran and …

Gov. Hochul discovers that socialism works until you run out of other people’s money

During her successful campaign for New York Governor in 2022, Democrat Kathy Hochul enjoyed mocking people who were fleeing the high tax rates and rampant crime that typically define Democrat states by telling them: “Just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, OK? You are not New Yorkers.” But it seems her tune has changed recently, The Blaze reports. Because people took Hochul’s advice and fled resulting in New York having the largest population decline of any US state in 2022. Of course, high taxes and rampant crime aren’t the only issues that caused people to flee. There was also its devastating COVID lockdown and anti-business and freedom regulations. But this exodus had a huge impact on the state’s pocketbook as the people fleeing were usually taxpayers. In a speech she gave on New Year’s Day, Hochul lamented: “We must and will make our state safe … we have to make our state more affordable … And we must reverse the trend of people leaving our state in search of …

Will the opening of the Pool of Siloam to visitors pave the way for the return of the Jewish Messiah?

The Israel Antiquities Authority has just announced that the Pool of Siloam in Jerusalem will soon be open to the public, Fox News reports. The pool was initially built 2,700 years ago, when King Hezekiah diverted the springs outside Jerusalem into the city during an invasion by the Assyrians to prevent the invading army from having access to the water (2 Kings 20:20; 2 Kings 18; 2 Chronicles 32). It was renovated several times over the following centuries and was approximately 1.25 acres in size. It is 225 feet (ca. 69 m) wide and three sides had steps going down to the water that came from the diverted Gihon springs. The pool functioned as a mitzvah for the Jews, as part of their cleansing ritual, before entering the Temple. For Christians, it is best known for its connection to Jesus’ healing of a blind man recorded in John 9:1-9. In the account, Jesus had encountered a man blind from birth and his disciples asked if he was blind because of his parent’s sin or the …

Are you a believer, in 2023? Who is?

Many years ago, when I was in high school, I learned an important lesson. In most classes, I would chat with other students near me, and we would be like study-buddies for the course. Something happened, I think in a chemistry class, and I was shocked. I was a Christian, and I was struggling to find my maturity, as an adult. It was too easy to conform to “Churchianity” to keep my family and church happy. Before the class started, one of my two Chemistry buddies told us what happened to him. He went to a meeting and someone told him he should follow Jesus, and he said yes. I think that was the previous evening. My friend was a new believer, and he seemed happy with his decision. Our other friend was a bad boy. I will skip the details, but he was into things. I was surprised but happy to hear the news. Before I said anything, our bad friend reached up and pulled on the cord for a window blind. Each blind …

Word of knowledge reveals the name of a woman’s unknown birth father

The word of knowledge is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit that is distributed to believers mentioned by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12. 8 For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; (1 Corinthians 12:8 NASV) It is defined as receiving revelatory information about a person or situation, either past or present, that a person would have otherwise not known about. And in a story on God TV, Deanna Shrodes shared the remarkable story of how God revealed the name of her birth father, through a word of knowledge. Deanna works in the ministry with her husband Larry where they pastor a church outside of Tampa, Florida. She had been adopted as an infant and never knew her birth parents When she was 27 years old, Deanna was finally able to track down her biological mother. Though they developed a relationship over the next 20 years before her mother died of cancer in 2019, she …

NYC’s plan to convert garbage trucks to electric declared a failure

As part of its green agenda, New York City had decided to convert its fleet of garbage trucks, numbering in the thousands, to electric. However, there was one problem because the garbage trucks had also been adapted to serve as snow plows to clear the city’s 19,000 miles (ca. 30,578 km) of streets when winter storms hit. The transformation of its diesel-powered fleet to electric came to a grinding halt after city officials discovered the seven electric-powered garbage trucks it had purchased at a cost of $523,000 each, only lasted four hours when used as snow plows. It seems that battery-powered electric vehicles don’t like winter and the cold, of course, most people already knew that. READ: New York sees failure in plan to convert garbage trucks to electric Early this week a story went viral when a Virginia man complained that he was forced to cancel his Christmas Day plans when his Tesla refused to charge in the cold weather. It was 19 degrees Fahrenheit and the battery was at 40%. When he plugged …

The Wonder Years’ actress, Danica McKellar, shares her journey to Christ

American actress Danica McKellar, who starred in The Wonder Years playing the role of Winnie Cooper, recently shared her journey to Christ in an interview with Candace Bure on her podcast, CBN reports. McKellar, 47, also shared the important role that Bure played in McKellar’s decision to become a Christian, which included the gift of a small Bible that McKellar said she started reading every day. In April of this year, McKellar shared on an Instagram that she had been skeptical about Christianity but then had reached out to Bure: “It all started one evening when I was struggling with the idea of forgiveness and DM’d my good friend @candacecbure about a passage from the Bible she had read on her instastories, and then she sent me a Bible, and invited me to church.” McKellar summed up the changes taking place in her life with these words: “I can tell you I’m experiencing a relationship with God and Jesus that I’ve never had before, and it feels miraculous” READ: ‘Wonder Years’ Actress Closes 2022 Grateful …

Are left-wing children cutting off contact with conservative parents?

In an article for Townhall, entitled, “Why Many Conservatives Won’t Be With Their Children or Grandchildren This Christmas,” Dennis Prager writes of recent phenomena where left-wing children have cut off contact with their conservative parents. This even includes not allowing the grandparents to see their grandchildren. Prager noted that he wrote the article after being contacted by numerous parents via his radio talk show stating that they have been cut off from their children because of politics. In every instance, it was because the parents leaned right or voted Republican. After he wrote that article, several people commented on Townhall.org how they had also been cut off due to political differences: Vermonter: “Sadly this is a nationwide trend. Neither of my college-educated children have contact with me anymore. Yes, it’s painful, especially regarding my grandson. I have apologized for offending them, to no avail … .” After writing the article, Prager expected pushback from the left claiming this was one big conspiracy theory. Instead, the response, which he outlined in a follow-up article entitled “Leftists …

Sweden announces further pullbacks on transgender treatments for minors

In May 2022, Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare (NBHW announced it will no longer provide puberty blockers and sex hormones to those under the age of 18 as part of its transgender treatment, CBN reports. It made the changes over precautionary concerns about the effectiveness of such treatments. Previously, the government had provided puberty blockers to those as young as eight but had noted in a draft statement that desires for gender change in pre-pubescent children most often end when they enter puberty. Recently the NBHW has announced further changes stating it will now be focusing on psychological counselling for those experiencing gender dysphoria under the age of 18, instead of pushing other procedures such as mastectomies. In the guidelines, updating its policy, the NBHW’s head, Thomas Lindén, said: “Young people who suffer from gender dysphoria need to be able to quickly receive an investigation and be offered adequate care measures, based on the health and medical services’ assessments of the care needs. Good psychosocial care is fundamental.“ READ: Sweden Pulls Back from …

Praying the Apostles’ Prayer

By Dr. Michael Brown You’ve heard of the Lord’s Prayer and the Apostles’ Creed. But have you ever heard of the Apostles’ Prayer? Actually, the “Apostles’ Prayer” is not a technical term, which would explain why you’re not familiar with it. Instead, it’s my description of the one and only time that the Bible records a prayer prayed jointly by these early Church leaders. We can learn a lot from it for ourselves today. In the fourth chapter of the book of Acts we read that there was government persecution of the believers, in this case, the Jewish leadership imprisoning the Jewish apostles. This persecution was the result of powerful miracles being performed in Jesus’ name and thousands of Jewish people putting their faith in Him as Messiah and Lord. In order to “to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people” these governmental leaders decided that “we must warn them [meaning the apostles] to speak no longer to anyone in this name [meaning the name of Jesus]” (Acts 4:17). What The Apostles …
