In a recent YouTube video, Ray Comfort, the founder of Living Water Publication, focused on what he described as the emergence of the technology paving the way for the Mark of the Beast.

During the 1970s and 1980s, many were writing about the Biblical end times and focused on the emergence of the ‘Mark of the Beast’ that the Apostle John warned about in his vision of events leading to Christ’s second coming.

Comfort noted that at the time, many had no idea what the mark would involve, but what was once Biblical prophecy has now become a technological reality.

He spoke of how people in Sweden are having rice-sized microchips inserted in their hands between their thumb and forefinger. Using Near Field Communications technology (NFC), these chips allow people to open secure doors with a wave of their hand. These chips can also include personal identification and can even be used to make purchases.

“Notice they’ve chosen to put the chips on the back of the hand, exactly as the Bible predicted,” Comfort said.

Though only a few thousand Swedish people have embraced this technology since it was first implemented in 2014, interest has grown recently because people can also download their vaccine passports onto the chip.

Comfort added that according to the Apostle John, the primary purpose of the ‘Mark of the Beast’ will be to control people’s ability to buy and sell:

“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:16-17 NKJV)

This means that, despite the suggestion by some, the COVID vaccines are not the ‘Mark of the Beast’ that the Apostle John saw.

But he added that with the implementation of vaccine passports, politicians may start pushing this chip technology to better control their citizens.

“Governments who want to control the masses need a foolproof way to make sure someone is vaccinated,” Comfort added. “The only way this will work is to have mandatory implants. If you don’t get it, you won’t be able to buy or sell.”

And with people becoming accustomed to and even approving of the idea that people should be restricted from doing certain activities if they are not vaccinated, not only is the technology available, so is the mindset.
