Stunning news out of Canada. It appears one of Canada’s major banks, the Royal Bank of Canada, has refused to extend a commercial mortgage and line of credit to an organization solely because of its conservative views.

Breitbart reports that an RBC representative had actually approved the financing, but its head office based in Toronto allegedly rejected the application solely because of the organization’s right-wing political leanings.

Rebel News was wanting a loan to purchase a building in Calgary.

In an audio recording of the conversation, the RBC rep suggested that the bank is also trying to rid itself of people and businesses that hold ‘strong’ conservative views.

Breitbart noted that Rebel News is one of the few conservative media outlets in Canada that criticizes the country’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
