Despite some claiming there are upwards of 58 genders, a significant majority of Americans still believe there are only two biological sexes, male and female.

In its survey conducted in early December, the polling company, Rasmussen, asked, “Do you agree or disagree with this statement: There are two genders, male and female.”

Breitbart reports that the results, released on Monday, Dec 27, 2021, showed that 75% of Americans believe there are only two genders, male and female, with 63% strongly agreeing with this position.

Only 18% strongly or somewhat believed there were more than two genders, and seven percent were unsure.

And when Rasumssuen factored in politics, the majority of all political leanings believed there were only two sexes, including 61% of Democrats, 73% of Independents, and 91% of Republicans.
