In Jesus’ warning about the end times, the Lord stated that it will be like the days of Noah (Luke 17:26-27). And a recent story about how a group of scientists is mixing human DNA with Monkey DNA may be a sign we are entering these end of the age days.
As we look through Genesis six that provides a picture of the days leading up to the world-wide flood, there are two things that defined this period.
First, the world is described as being filled with violence (Genesis 6:11). I think we can check that off. Though I expect, what we are seeing today is just a foretaste of what is yet to come.
Secondly, we read that God judged earth because of the marriages taking place between the sons of God and daughters of men that produced what appeared to be genetically superior humans referred to as “mighty men” and “men of renown” (Genesis 6:4).
Who were these “sons of God”?
Many believe they were actually angels as the phrase is used in other Biblical texts to describe angelic beings such as we see in Job.
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. (Job 1:6 NKJV)
This would suggest that there was a genetic contamination taking place between humans and angelic beings. And not only was this producing genetically superior humans, but this mixing of DNA may have also resulted in a dramatic increase in violent behaviour among humans.
As society reached a breaking point, God decided to judge man with a world-wide flood.
So, why did God choose Noah?
Well verse 9 may provide an explanation. We are told that Noah was “perfect in his generations.” In other words, this was not just about Noah, as we are told his family line was also perfect or pure.
This suggests is that Noah’s family had not yet been contaminated by Angel genetics and God intended the world-wide flood to reset the human DNA back to its original state.
If this interpretation is true, then a story from the Daily Mail may be a sign of the times as we read of scientists from China and the US are playing God and mixing human DNA with monkey DNA, a hybrid creation they refer to as Chimera:

Lead author Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte said there are certain types of experiments you can’t conduct on humans, so creating nearly-human hybrids could solve this roadblock and provide vital data not available from other sources.
Though this is not exactly the same as what took place in Noah’s day, it certainly has a similar ring. This group of scientists reportedly stopped the embryos from growing after 20 days, but what are the chances that other less scrupulous scientists are doing the same thing?
According to the Daily Mail, scientists have been mixing human DNA with rats since the 70s.
