In 2010, Maxim rated Jenna Presley one of the world’s top ten porn stars. Jenna’s (whose real name is Brittni Ruiz) had been involved in pornography for seven years. In November 2012, she turned her life over to God and left the porn industry.
In her testimony posted on Youtube, Brittni said, “Thank you, Jesus! I found Him, I’m home!”
By age 15 Brittni was dancing topless in Mexican bars. Her life quickly spiralled downward to porn movies, prostitution and alcohol and drug addiction. Porn producers found her appealing because she looked so young and often dressed her up as a young girl. Brittni was involved in over 275 porn movies.
But her involvement started affecting her. She became depressed and suicidal.
“I was so robotic, I was like a rubber Barbie doll. I had no emotions, I was no longer Brittni. I became Jenna Presley. I had an alter ego,” said Brittni.
Brittni wanted out and started attending a San Diego church. But she left disillusioned, after she watched a man she was dating from the church stabbed to death outside a restaurant by a member of a biker gang.
But God continued to work.
Brittni connected with members of XXX Church which was formed in 2002 by Pastor Craig Gross who was concerned about the devastating and addicting power of porn. This online ministry is self described as the #1 Christian porn site.
XXX Church expanded its ministry and began reaching out people in the porn industry. It set up its first booth at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in La Vegas. Members now regularly attend porn conventions where they hand out a favourite track “Jesus Loves Porn Stars.”
It was at such a convention that Brittni connected with XXX Church member Rachel Collins. This past November, Brittni gave up porn and gave her life to God and now works for a limousine company.

Did Mary Magdalene work in the sex industry?
Some believe Mary Magdalene may have worked in the sex industry prior to becoming a disciple of Christ. Though the Bible doesn’t clearly state this, they point to her home town, Magdalene, which was notoriously corrupt and Luke’s record of seven demons being cast out of her which implied a seedy past (Luke 8:2).
They also suggest she was the unnamed woman Luke mentions a few verses earlier (7:37-50), who washed Jesus’ feet with her hair and poured perfume on Him, while Jesus was visiting the house of a Pharisee. The Pharisee questioned Jesus’ prophetic ability because He allowed an immoral woman to touch Him. Some believe the expensive perfume suggested she worked as a prostitute.
Whatever the case, Mary was the first to see the Risen Lord (Luke 24:1 f).
