Climate hypocrisy: ‘Gas for me, but not for thee’

During the last election, Oregon’s left-wing Democrat governor, Tina Kotek, campaigned against the use of natural gas to heat her state. According to PJ Media, her election website still talks about these lofty goals: “Transition away from the use of fossil fuels like methane gas in homes and commercial buildings. … Tina put Oregon on a path to 100% clean electricity by 2040.” Of course, we need to understand that these environmental extremists want to impose rules upon the serfs, but certainly we shouldn’t expect them to live by the same ideals. According to the Post Millennial (PM), Kotek has apparently applied for permits to install a $300k natural gas/propane heating system in her mansion. PM writes: Democrat Governor Tina Kotek, who previously promised to cut the state’s use of natural gas, is having a dual natural gas and propane backup generator installed at Mahonia Hall, the official residence of the Oregon governor. According to the official bid, “The project includes updating the utility service with backup emergency dual natural gas and propane. Adds a …

Razor blades attached to gas pump handles in North Carolina

Attacks by environmental fanatics on oil have hit a new level in North Carolina as police report that someone is attaching razor blades to the pump handles at gas stations, Fox News reports. After several rusty razor blades were discovered during routine inspections by regulators, police issued a warning to gas stations and consumers in the western part of the state. Since the announcement, several other gas stations have reported razor blades attached to station pump handles. It seems that radical environmentalists are intent on injuring people who try to fill up their gas vehicles. “I don’t know what’s wrong with people. I’m scared,” one customer told WSOC-TV. “People are crazy.” READ: North Carolina police find razor blades inside pumps at several gas stations: ‘Evil thing to do’

Holland threatens to nationalize 3,000 farms as part of the left’s attack on agriculture

As the rest of the world deals with a food crisis, the Netherlands’ left-wing government continues its attack on agriculture, The Blaze reports. The Dutch government recently announced it will purchase between 2,000 to 3,000 farms, as part of its plan to reduce nitrogen fertilizer usage in that country. Of course, fertilizer is necessary for larger crops. This is part of the government’s 2055 net-zero carbon emissions’ strategy, which includes a 55% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030, an impossible target to achieve unless you are willing to destroy the country and people’s lives. In its first stage, the government will offer Dutch farmers a voluntary buyout which will be over market-value for the property. However, if not enough farmers participate, the government said it will simply nationalize the rest, if necessary. This is all part of the left’s continued attack on agriculture and its plans to save the world by starving it. Video: Dealing with ‘woke’ bank’s attack on energy and farming?

Left-wing activists and Democrats are trying to force American banks to go woke and allegedly using them to financially hinder oil companies and farmers over climate change issues. In response, nineteen state Attorney Generals (AGS) are demanding that six American banks hand over any documents related to the United Nations Net Zero Banking Alliance. The AGs allege that the environmental and social practices (ESG) instituted under this program is harming America’s energy and farming industry.

Allegations Britain is stripping Canada’s old-growth forests

With its move to green energy, primarily wind and solar, one of Britain’s power plants has also converted a coal power plant to wood in order to go green and produce power. The BBC alleges that one of the sources of its wood is environmentally important ‘old-growth’ forests in British Columbia, Canada. The BBC explains: One of the Drax forests is a square mile, including large areas that have been identified as rare, old-growth forest. The provincial government of British Columbia says old-growth forests are particularly important and that companies should put off logging them. Drax’s own responsible sourcing policy says it “will avoid damage or disturbance” to primary and old-growth forest. However, the latest satellite pictures show Drax is now cutting down the forest. Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is roaring back

Remember a few years back, rabid environmentalists were telling the world that global warming was killing off Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Apparently, the Great Barrier Reef is roaring back, the Australian Institute of Marine Sciences (AIMS) reports. In fact, it is in the best shape it’s been in 36 years. Breitbart explains: Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is doing just fine with vast sections defying every forecast of impending doom made by climate catastrophists over the past 30 years, a report Thursday outlines. Coral cover on two-thirds of the iconic reef, which is seen as a bellwether of ocean health, has reached its highest level since records began 36 years ago, according to marine scientists monitoring the ecosystem. In defiance of the Global warming propaganda, the AMS described the reef as healthy and flourishing, but keeping with the global warming propaganda added that the prognosis for the coral reef was still “‘very poor’ due to ‘climate change.’” “This echoes news outlets like the Washington Post which in 2017 published a piece that outlined, “An ecological catastrophe is unfolding off Australia’s …

The left’s attack on agriculture takes a sinister turn in Holland

In the midst of the world’s food crisis, the left-wing Dutch government has imposed new environmental restrictions on agriculture that will result in many farms having to close down. The Dutch government even admits this is going to happen, but is there something more sinister going on? According to a spokesperson for the Dutch Minister of Agriculture, the government is preparing “to buy out farmers in order to meet its climate goal”, Irish Farm News reports. READ: Dutch government moves to ‘buy out’ farmers The Atlantic writes: One in three Dutch livestock farmers could lose their business. The Dutch News adds: Farms will have to close down to meet nitrogen targets, ministers say Ag Daily note: New Dutch emission rules hamstring farmers & threaten food security The Federalist: Dutch Government Launches Canadian-Style Crackdown On Farmer Protests And in America I am sure this is not related. The New York Post writes: Gates, the billionaire tech mogul and philanthropist whose net worth was pegged by Bloomberg at $113 billion, has quietly amassed nearly 270,000 acres of …

Americans facing rolling blackouts due to the rush to green energy

Experts are warning that many Americans could potentially face electrical blackouts this summer because energy companies may not be able to meet demands, Fox News reports. In an interview with Fox News, Daniel Turner, the executive director at Power the Future, said the blame for these rolling blackouts rests squarely on the rush to green energy, which has weakened the electrical grid. Fox News explains: The potential outages come as many states have moved to quickly take plants that produce traditional sources of energy such as coal and natural gas offline and switch production over to renewable energy sources, which currently do not have the capacity to keep up with the demand of a hot summer. Part of the issue with renewable sources of energy such as wind and solar is that it is dependent on variables outside human control, with some areas not having enough wind or sunshine to continuously produce power. Batteries are in development that could help store excess energy production for later use, but the technology is currently expensive and not …

Biden to stop new oil and gas drilling off America’s coasts?

With Americans paying around $5 for a gallon of gas, President Joe Biden has tried to defuse the criticism by blaming Russia, oil companies, and most recently gas stations for the sky-high prices. But recently, Biden revealed one more time that his green agenda is the reason, as his administration suggests it will BLOCK new drilling for gas and oil off America’s east and west coasts and the Gulf of Mexico. Breitbart explains: U.S. President Joe Biden has proposed blocking all new drilling in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans as the world cries out for more energy from more sources far from Russia, the Middle East, and the OPEC oil cartel. Biden is also moving to shut down exploration and production of oil and gas on onshore federal lands while acknowledging the importance of fossil fuels in the U.S. energy landscape, as Breitbart News reported. The problem with electric vehicles

Many woke governments have dived headlong into electric vehicles (EV), often providing subsidies to companies that manufacture them and to anyone who would purchase one. Of course, it is being done in the name of saving the world from man-made global warming. But they have failed to perform one of the most basic checks when diving into an unknown pool: How deep is the water? Not very, according to an article in the Financial Post: The Achilles’ heel of vehicle electrification is the lithium-ion battery, an inefficient, costly and vulnerable energy-storage system plagued by issues of weight, energy density, low performance in cold weather and grid adequacy — and now also by skyrocketing prices of the key minerals it requires: lithium, cobalt and nickel. The electric mobility paradigm needs to be recognized for what it has been: a technical and fiscal flop. It should be shelved before it precipitates a serious meltdown of the automotive industry. Gas prices soaring in the US, averaging $4.91 a gallon

Gas prices are continuing to soar in the US, and have reached an average price of $4.91 a gallon, setting a tenth consecutive record day high, Breitbart reports. One California town reported that gas prices have reached $10 a gallon Breitbart explains: Gas prices on Tuesday soared to a tenth consecutive record day high of $4.91 per gallon, fueled by President Joe Biden’s war on American energy that includes driving up private and public financing costs of oil drilling, halting drilling on public lands, and canceling the Keystone pipeline. Gas prices increased five cents overnight and nearly 30 cents in one week, AAA data reveals. Drivers are paying nearly $2 more from just one year ago. Prices have more than doubled since Donald Trump left office. The pain at the pump is expected to increase to over $6.00 per gallon before Labor Day, according to a JPMorgan commodities analyst. Gas prices have reportedly already reached $10 per gallon in the northern California town of Mendocino. Study: Parts of the Antarctic ice cap are growing, not shrinking

Researchers from Cambridge University, Newcastle University, and New Zealand’s University of Canterbury are certain to send off alarm bells in the man-made global warming industrial complex (MMGWIC). One of the big fears being promoted by the MMGWIC is that if we don’t stop man-made global warming is that all the coastal cities will simply be washed away by the rising oceans. So it was particularly disturbing when this group of scientists stated that between 2003/4 to 2019, the ice pack on the western side of the Antarctic has actually been increasing. Growing. The Western Antarctic has about 1,400 km of shoreline. And this isn’t even the first time this has been reported. Back in 2015, NASA reported the exact same thing was happening. Though the ice pack on the eastern side of the Antarctic was shrinking, the ice pack on the western side was growing. In fact, the west’s growth was faster than the eastern, so overall the Antarctic ice pack was growing, not shrinking. READ: NASA Study: Mass gains of Antarctic Ice Sheet greater …

Deluge proves SUVs were invented in 1851

There are more reports that a global warming fanatic group, Tyre Extinguishers, is still prowling Britain looking for SUVs, so they can empty their tires of air. As part of this campaign, the zealots leave a letter on the vehicle’s windshield blaming them for climate change because they are driving a gas-guzzling vehicle instead of taking a bus. Unfortunately, that doesn’t explain why they also empty the tires of electric SUVs. But now concrete evidence is emerging that SUVs have been around a lot longer than previously thought. It seems they were first invented in 1851 and probably earlier. The recent massive flooding in Britain due to extreme rainfall has the eco fanatics blaming the deluge on climate change and obviously SUVs. However, during the recent lockdowns, researchers had time to study past historical records and weather reports and discovered that a major rainfall in Britain during 1852 smashed the flooding that took place this year. In fact, it wasn’t even close. The Daily Mail writes: Heavy rainfall may be associated with flash floods and …

Top climate scientist predicts global cooling

When it comes to climate, Dr. Willie Soon should know what he is talking about. He currently works for the Solar and Stellar Physics Division at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Breitbart reported on a recent interview Soon had with Alex Newman of the New American, where the climate scientist went against the popular opinion of the day, stating that he believed the earth would soon be entering a time of cooling, because of the inactivity of the sun.

Let’s pretend

Let’s pretend we are concerned about the environment and hold a news conference at a new service outlet providing electricity for electric cars that will save the world. And let’s pretend that is not a diesel generator in the background providing the electricity for those outlets.

Study: Greenland was warmer 80 years ago

This will be a bit disconcerting for the Global warming fanatics who have been claiming that because of rising C02 emissions, the earth is warmer than anytime in the past 1,000 years. The alarmist keep telling us that if we don’t reduce CO2 emissions, ice in the Arctic and Antarctic will melt and our coastal cities will be flooded. Of course, the facts say otherwise.

Global Warming: ‘We have to break your will’

According to Breitbart, This is a statement that David Ismay who serves as the undersecretary for climate change in Massachusetts, made during a Vermont Climate Council meeting in January. He said that 60% of the CO2 emissions come from average Americans and to stop this from happening, “We have to break your will.” Breitbart explains: David Ismay, the undersecretary for climate change under Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker’s (R) administration, explained during a Vermont Climate Council meeting last month the majority of the Bay State’s emissions come from average people and there is “no bad guy left … to point the finger at, to turn the screws on, and you know, to break their will.” Rather, he told his fellow climate advocates, “We have to break your will,” a remark he admitted would not bode well publicly.[…] “So let me say that again, 60 percent of our emissions that need to be reduced come from you, the person across the street, the senior on fixed income, right?” he said, acknowledging there is “no bad guy left, …
