In 2016, Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, introduced Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), which allowed those who were suffering from severe illnesses/disabilities to request euthanasia from medical practitioners.
It has taken a horrific turn recently, as in 2023, Trudeau will be extending it to include those experiencing mental health issues.

A Canadian army veteran, who was permanently injured during military training, was allegedly offered MAiD by a government bureaucrat, when she complained to the Federal government’s Veteran Affairs Department about the delays in installing her needed stair lift.
Why is the government doing this?
