
The United Bible Societies (UBS) distributed 32.6 million Bibles to people around the world in 2021, Premier Christian News reports.
This is an increase of 5.5% over 2020, when UBS reported there had been a drop in Bible distributions over the previous year.
According to UBS, it saw an increase in Bible distribution in nearly every region of the world last year. The only region reporting a decline was Europe.
According to UBS, 20% of Bibles distributed in 2021 were digital copies, as downloads increasingly become an important part of Bible distribution, particularly in regions where there is conflict.
