CBN is reporting that effective Dec 1, 2021, the Swedish government required a vaccine passport for anyone attending events exceeding 100 people.
The Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet, writes that this requirement has led to several hundred Swedes choosing to have a microchip embedded in their hand that contains a vaccine passport that can be read by an NFC reader.
So far, about 6,000 Swedes have had a microchip embedded in their hands since it was introduced in 2014. Since these are memory chips, all sorts of data can be downloaded onto them. These chips can not only hold a COVID passport, but as well, a person’s ID. They can also be used to open doors requiring a card, and even make purchases.
CBN writes that the conveniences these chips offer would be the driving force behind their growing acceptance:
“It’s a so-called ‘health tool’ The Atlantic predicted would become more popular. “
“‘As with most technologies, the tipping point for implantable chips will come when they become so useful they’re hard to refuse. It could happen sooner than you think,’ Haley Weiss wrote in 2018.”
Are these chips the Mark of the Beast?
Some end times researchers have speculated that such chips could be the Mark of the Beast that the Apostle John saw in his vision of the end times.
16 And he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 and he decrees that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:16-18 NASV)
Since the chips are embedded using a syringe, one of the spinoffs is that for a few days the injection point is red and swollen, which may be the mark that the Apostle John saw.
Mark of the Beast on the ‘right hand’
In his vision, the Apostle John specifically noted that the mark was on people’s right hand and in the video below, you will see one person having the chip embedded in his right hand.
But in the example showing how it works, the man opened the door using a chip embedded in the left hand.
I suspect as these chips become popular, the trend will be to have it embedded in a person’s dominant hand (depending on whether they are left or right-handed), again for the convenience. Approximately, 90% of the world’s population is right-handed.
