One-armed HS basketball player puts on a show

Hansel Emmanuel plays basketball with Life Christian Academy in Kissimmee, Florida. He lost his arm at age 6 after he was trapped for two hours beneath a wall that fell on him.

However, his disability did not stop the 16-year-old from the Dominican Republic putting on a show at a recent basketball tournament:

In an interview with Yahoo sports, Emmanuel explained how he decided to approach his disability:

Emmanuel, 16, lost his left arm when a wall accidentally fell on him at the age of 6, per Noticias Sin. He said he remembers the accident as a life lesson that God exists and has given him the power to exceed challenges he faces.
