I was surprised as much by where I read this article, as I was about what it had to say.
The article on the front page of Fox News website, entitled, California pastor who prophesied Kanye West’s transformation 4 years ago predicts this about Trump tells about a remarkable prophecy given by a Los Angeles pastor by the name of Shawn Bolz about Kanye West.
Shawn Bolz founded Expressions58 church and has recently moved into a prophetic travelling ministry. He hosts a podcast entitled “Exploring the Prophetic.” He also writes regularly for CBN and Charisma media.
Four years ago, Bolz publicly stated several times that God told him prominent rapper Kanye West would not only become a Christian but would begin to move in the gift prophecy:
At the time Bolz made those declarations, Kanye West had just suffered a nervous breakdown. But if anyone ever produced a list of rock stars least likely to become a Christian, I am sure Kanye West would have been at the top of that list.
But in 2019, Kanye West had a remarkable conversion to Christ and since then has started having church services across the country attracting tens of thousands of people resulting in thousands of conversions.
But Bolz has also received a prophetic word on US President Donald Trump, that he would be serving a second term as president of the US:
An interesting word in light of the recent impeachment trial.
One thing Bolz also believes is that all Christians and even non-Christians are able to hear from God. He told Fox News:
In his teaching on the spiritual gifts, the Apostle Paul tells Christians to earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, but particularly prophecy:
The Greek word translated “earnestly desire,” zeloo, means to strive after, to burn with zeal, to be heated or boiled with envy. It actually includes the idea of jealousy.
Paul made the same statement in 1 Corinthians 12:31, when he encouraged believers to earnestly desire the higher gifts, which prophecy clearly falls into. So when he says it twice, it is something that we need to focus on.
We need to want the gift of prophecy and this doesn’t mean waiting for God to drop the gift into us, we need to aggressively pursue this gift. We need to start praying for it. We need to have others lay hands on us for the gift (1 Timothy 4:14). We need to start stepping out in faith and giving prophetic words.
In the video below, Bolz shares how God not only wants to move on people in the entertainment industry and already is:
