Christian Broadcasting Network is reporting on a move of God in France at the Grande Conference held in Nates, July 1-3, 2016.

According to a report by Chris Gore, a pastor from California who spoke at the event, during one of the early services nearly 70% of the people in attendance, numbering over 1,000, gave their life to the Lord.

In later services there was an outpouring of miracles with hundreds claiming healings.

On his Facebook page, Gore wrote:

Europe is alive for Jesus! What an incredible night in France. We saw tonight around 2,000 miracles and exactly 100 reports of deaf ears opening.

The convention also featured Canadian speakers John and Carol Arnott who led the infamous Toronto revival. Similar events are scheduled for Austria and Germany later this fall.

In the midst of the terrorism and violence that has hit Europe, God is beginning to stir.

In the Book of Revelation, an apocalyptic vision of the end times given to the Apostle John, he writes on an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will result in hundreds of thousands of people turning to Christ.

In chapter 14, John saw an angel of God preaching the Gospel in mid-heaven:

6Ā And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; 7Ā and he said with a loud voice, ā€œFear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.ā€ (Revelation 14:6-7 NASV)

Notice how the angel was speaking to every nation, tribe and tongue.

I believe angels have an ability to influence people in many ways by touch and the spoken word. We see this in Daniel’s encounter with an angel recorded in Daniel 10, where Ā several strange things happened to the prophet because of what the angel did.

For example, in verse 9, Daniel fell into a deep sleep after the angel spoke. When the angel touched the prophet in verse 10, he fell to his knees trembling. When the angel spoke the word “courage” in verse 19, Daniel regained his strength.

So when we see an angel preaching the gospel in mid-heaven, it is being done for a specific purpose — to make people receptive to the Gospel.

As believers, we still need to share our faith, but after the angel has done this, there will be an openness to God like never seen before.

After the angel has preached in the mid-heaven, John saw another angel pick up a sickle and begin to harvest a crop.

15Ā And another angel came out of the temple, crying out with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, ā€œPut in your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.ā€ 16Ā Then He who sat on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped. (Revelation 14: 15-16 NASV)

This does not mean the angels are actually bringing people to Christ, the church will the one doing it.Ā  What God is doing in the spiritual realm, the church will complete on earth. This would be a literal fulfillment of Jesus’s prayer, “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10 KJV).

Meanwhile as all this is happening, John saw other angels pouring judgments on the earth (verses 8-11; 17-20). So in the midst of this chaos, there is a massive in-gathering of people into the Kingdom of God.

Recently I have noticed spiritual hot spots appearing all over the world. Last fall, Sid Roth wrote about a powerful move of God among Jews in Odessa, Ukraine where hundreds of Jews responded to the Gospel. In his years of ministering to Jews, he had never seen anything like this.

In April a revival broke out in rural West Virginia where over 4,000 people believed in Jesus, many of them teenagers.

The same thing happened in North Carolina at the end of June. The revival that started in New Hope Baptist in Burlington, NC also seems to be impacting the youth where a service for the youth had over 5,000 in attendance. Similar to West Virginia, thousands are making first time commitments to Christ.

And like the West Virginia revival, the secular media is starting to report on it. The Charlotte News & Observer recently ran a story on the baptism of 39 men in Durham County Jail.

The Holy Spirit is stirring and who knows if this is all happening because an angel is preaching in the mid-heaven.
