New York Times admits mask mandates didn’t work

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, President Joe Biden sent his lawyers to the Federal Appeals Court to overturn a lower court ruling that ended Biden’s mandate that masks be worn on all public transport including passenger jets. Ironically, the same day that Biden was hoping to have the mask mandate reinstated, there was an article in the New York Times that basically admitted that mask mandates made no difference in stopping the spread of COVID.

Facebook censors a meme of boys playing accusing it of gender stereotyping

One of the co-founders of Army of Parents, an organization dedicated to fighting Loudoun County Public Schools’ woke agenda, alleges that Facebook censored one of its memes, the Daily Caller reports. The move reflected a major change in the censorship bureau at the social media giant. Last year, Erin Poe had posted a meme with photos of six boys that included them playing in mud and climbing fences with the words “Raising boys is not for the faint hearted.” Last year, it was fine, but when Poe decided to repost it this year, when it came up as a memory on her timeline, Facebook’s Politburo deemed the meme as gender stereotyping and removed it. Facebook censors then blocked Poe from accessing her page for three days. There was an added warning that a second offense would lead to a seven-day ban, and persistent posts deemed offensive by the politburo could lead to a permanent ban. Facebook sees its number of logins decline for the first time in history

For the first time in its storied history, Facebook has seen its number of users decline. Facebook opened its doors on Oct 28, 2003 under the name of FaceMask. It would change its name to TheFacebook in Feb 2004. The Dailymail reports that Facebook, which typically has 1.93 billion people logging in daily, saw its number of logins shrink by nearly 500,000 daily during the last three months of 2021. This combined with lower ad revenues because of Tik Tok has resulted in a 22.6% decline in the stock price of Facebook’s parent company, Meta, a $200 billion reduction in the company’s value. READ: Facebook loses users for the first time EVER: Shares plummet 20%, wiping $200BN off value of parent-firm Meta after it revealed 500,000 fewer daily log-ins and declining profits – Zuckerberg’s personal wealth takes $29BN hit Of course, Facebook has gone woke and continues to censor and ban any groups it personally doesn’t agree with. Apparently, its administrators haven’t figured out if they continue doing this, people will go elsewhere. READ: US …

Facebook just censored one of opentheWord’s articles

I call it a badge of honour, but someone just told me that Facebook censored one of my articles, as it was completely yanked from the social media site. They forwarded me the warning I received. Apparently, the article was yanked because it was partially false: Now, we need a bit of context here. The global warming elitists are gathering in Glasgow, Scotland for a big man-made warming shin ding where they will warn us, as they have done for nearly 20 years, that we only have ten years to save the planet. As the elitists fly in on their private jets, they will also be insisting the peasants of the world should no longer be allowed to drive our cars. So, of course, Facebook’s censors on heightened alert for any news that would contradict the global warming propaganda. Apparently, my article on how Australia’s Great Barrier, that was allegedly obliterated by man-made global warming, is now growing back was partially false. You can read the censored article here: READ: As global warming fearmongering grows, …

Online Censorship: Are they banning the Bible now?

Are some parts of the Bible being banned from the Internet? A woman in England, Seyi Omooba, posted some Bible quotes about homosexuality on Facebook. She stated that the Bible position on the subject is “clearly evident.” Several people called for her to be fired from her job, and later she was fired. READ: Theater Fired Christian Actress for Facebook Post Citing Bible Verses on Homosexuality, Suit Says That was not censorship by Facebook. She lost her job because people read her quotations from the Bible, on Facebook. The issue is now in the courts, and I’m sure the managers at Facebook don’t want to be involved. Other people have claimed that some parts of the Bible cannot be quoted on some Internet platforms. Paul Joseph Watson recently posted a video “Facebook bans Bible passages to YouTube.” His claims were investigated by Newsweek, and reporters questioned Facebook management. After an internal investigation, Facebook apologized and reversed the decision to ban the video. The Newsweek article is “Facebook Unbans BibleHub Passages After Censoring Them ‘In Error’” …

Facebook’s fact-checker gets fact-checked

We reported recently how Candace Owens’ Facebook post/video was labelled as false information by an organization used by Facebook to fact-check content. Candace Owens is a popular black Conservative woman. Owens’ video stated at the time that Biden was “literally and legally not the President-elect” which he isn’t until he is approved by the electoral college. However, Facebook’s fact-checker declared her video as “false” and the same message was given to everyone who shared it.

Why is Instagram censoring Sean Feucht’s worship videos?

According to CBN, Sean Feucht, a worship leader associated with Bethel Music, recently shared several social media posts that Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are now censoring worship and praise videos. Apparently, Feucht was going to places where there has been rioting and then posting videos of praise and worship from these locations. And while these social media corporations allowed posts of actual rioting, somehow praise and worship songs was considered insensitive or harmful and removed. Feucht tweeted: While @Facebook @instagram @Twitter promote the content of violence, rioting & destruction, they are actively CENSORING worship, prayer, peaceful protest & anything going against their fear-mongering narrative. My feed and many others is proof.#ChangeTheNarrative — Sean Feucht (@seanfeucht) June 23, 2020 Feucht reports that Instagram justified the removal of his praise and worship videos because they were classified as “harmful” or containing “false information”: This is what we’ve come to in America! Instagram is now classifying my WORSHIP videos as “harmful or false information” Religious Liberty? Freedom of Speech? Big Tech censorship? pic.twitter.com/I7s6HUfKH4 — Sean Feucht (@seanfeucht) June …

Facebook apologizes for censoring Franklin Graham’s post

Facebook recently apologized for closing down Evangelist Franklin Graham’s Facebook page for 24 hours. According to a Foxnews report, a moderator (one of 15,000) working for the giant social media company pulled Graham’s page based on a post the evangelist wrote in 2016 defending North Carolina’s House Bill 2 (HB20 law. The state introduced the law after the city of Charlotte introduced a regulation allowing people to use public washrooms based on the sex that they identified with. This meant, that a person born a biological male, but who now identified as female, would be allowed to use a female washroom and shower. HB2 was intended to modify the Charlotte regulation. After this legislation was introduced, there was an immediate backlash from activists. In an April 9, 2016, post Graham responded to Bruce Springsteen’s decision to cancel a concert in the state because of HB2: Bruce Springsteen, a long-time gay rights activist, has cancelled his North Carolina concert. He says the NC law #HB2 to prevent men from being able to use women’s restrooms and locker rooms …
