Children’s choir forced to stop singing America’s national anthem at US Capitol because ‘it might offend someone’

Rushingbrook Children’s Choir is a children’s Christian choir from South Carolina. They were at the US Capitol on May 26, 2023, and while inside decided to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” to an appreciative audience who were slowly gathering to hear the performance, The Blaze reports. But not everyone was enjoying it. An officer for the US Capitol police ordered the children to stop mid-song because singing America’s national anthem inside the US Capitol (and we are not making this up) might “offend someone”. Another officer claimed, “singing the Anthem could be considered a form of protest.” The children who were in the middle of the third stanza immediately stopped singing. But here is the kicker, the choir had actually been invited by several state congressional representatives to come to the US Capitol and sing. For the most part, the left has decriminalized shoplifting and the result is in the more extreme cases like San Francisco, stores are closing, and honest people are losing their jobs and ability to feed their families. In other instances, stores are putting goods behind lock and key to prevent theft. The left argues that the poor shouldn’t be penalized for trying to survive, but the fact is most who shoplift are doing it to buy drugs and feed their addictions, not their families. And worse because of the left’s refusal to prosecute shoplifting, their policies have created a new level of professional shoplifting gangs. Two neighboring Canadian provinces, at opposite ends of the political spectrum, have contrasting success rates on their programs dealing with drug addiction. The province of British Columbia run by the left-wing NDP party has taken the approach of providing safe drugs to addicts to break them of their addictions. The Province of Alberta, which just re-elected a Conservative government, decided that drug addiction programs and detox centers are the best way to handle the problem. From 2021 to 2022, overdose deaths in the province dropped by 17 per cent; in the same period, British Columbia saw only a 1.4-percent reduction. A new series entitled ‘Pauline’ scheduled for release on Disney+ has a disturbing theme, CBN reports. The German-made production will feature an 18-year-old girl who becomes pregnant after having a one-night stand with Satan. “Let me be clear. Pauline is not just another piece of entertainment,” said Ted Baehr who is the founder and chair of MovieGuide. “Horrifically, this series even portrays Satan as a romantic partner! Evangelist Ray Comfort releases video of an upcoming documentary about famed atheist Richard Dawkins former right-hand man who reportedly became a Christian

In a recent YouTube video, Evangelist Ray Comfort said that his ministry would be releasing a documentary about a person who worked closely with famous evolutionary biologist and atheist Richard Dawkins, Faithwire reports. Dawkins, 82, is an outspoken critic of Christianity and creationism and wrote a book entitled, ‘The God Delusion,’ as part of his attack on faith. Comfort stated that an individual had contacted their ministry claiming to be a close associate with Dawkins, but had become a Christian. The individual, who worked for four years with Dawkins before becoming a believer, helped produce several documentaries for the infamous atheist. Apparently, Dawkins even dedicated one of his bestselling books to the person. Christian monument at Williams College vandalized with Satanic graffiti

A monument at Williams College, a private Liberal arts college located in Williamstown, Massachusetts, honoring Christian missionaries was recently vandalized with Satanic graffiti, the CollegeFix reports. This was the second time this has happened to the monument in recent weeks which has become a popular gathering spot for Christian students at the school to pray. On May 13, 2023, vandals spray-painted the words, ‘Hail Satan,’ ‘Blood,’ ‘Pagan Rule,’ and ‘Ouch’ on the monument and followed that up on May 21 by vandalizing it a second time with the words ‘Ouch’, ‘Shame on you’ and ‘Hell is hot.’ Referred to as the ‘Haystack monument’, the 12-foot tall marble monument was constructed in 1867 to commemorate four students who started an American missionary movement to spread the gospel around the world. The monument became controversial after the college conducted a 2016 review of the artwork and monuments on the property of the historic college. Largest water baptism in history: Over 4,000 water baptized at Pirate’s Cove on Pentecost Sunday

In what is being called the largest water baptism in history, over 4,000 people were baptized at Pirate’s Cove in Southern California, CBN reports. Over 280 churches participated in the mass water baptism held on Pentecost Sunday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Jesus People Movement that swept North America in the 60s and 70s. It is estimated over 8,000 watched the 4,166 people being water baptized. Pentecost Sunday is held 50 days after Easter Sunday and marks the falling of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2. It fell on May 28, this year. While there are reports of the Chinese Communist Party illegally setting up police stations in countries around the world that are allegedly being used to monitor and intimidate Chinese people living in these nations, things were taken to a different level in Canada, the National Post reports. According to the US State Department, in 2009 the North Korean government sentenced a two-year-old boy and his family to life imprisonment after his parents were caught owning a Bible, The Christian Post reports. The family undoubtedly ended up in one of North Korea’s political gulags where prisoners are routinely beaten, raped, forced to eat contaminated food and tortured. The US State Department added that approximately 70,000 Christians are imprisoned in the regime because of their faith. Though Korea’s constitution officially guarantees religious freedom, people in that regime can actually face the death penalty for having a Bible. This is because these freedoms are overruled by a document called the Ten Principles for Establishing a Monolithic Leadership System. It is made up of the teachings of North Korea’s past despots, Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il, and its current supreme leader, Kim Jong Un, that North Koreans are forced to believe and adhere to.
