A young evangelist’s encounter with an alleged Satanist reveals the truth behind the Apostle Paul’s words that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12 NASV).

Our natural tendency is to treat people as the enemy, without realizing that the true source of the conflict is the satanic realm.

Bryce Crawford, a young Christian evangelist, often posts his encounters with people on Instagram to his 696,000 followers, the Christian Post reports.

A video recently uploaded to Instagram, which has hundreds of thousands of views and over 141k likes, shows the brief discussion that Bryce had with Chad, a self-proclaimed Satanist.

Chad, who is dressed in black, admits “I’m satanic” and worships “one of the Satans.”

Chad said that he was initially drawn to Satanism because of the hypocrisy of Christians and Catholicism and would have burned Jesus instead of crucifying Him, because the Lord was a witch.

Bryce provides his own testimony by referring to how Jesus helped his mental health struggles.

I was tormented by mental struggles and mental health issues and not having hope for myself,” Bryce said. Jesus gave me that hope.

Personal testimonies are powerful tools in our battle with the demonic realm. In his vision of the end times, the Apostle John saw believers overcoming Satan “because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony,” (Revelation 12:11 NASV).

When Chad stated that his life is better since he embraced the satanic realm, Bryce answered that makes complete sense because “I believe that Satan would give me things I want. You know, and there’s a lot of things that I want, and there’s been times that I’ve prayed to God and asked God for things that I wanted, but that’s not what I needed.

Bryce then closes the conversation by asking if he could pray for Chad. The words that Bryce spoke seem to have impacted Chad because he agrees.

Taking Chad by the hand, Bryce prays that Jesus would reveal himself to Chad through “dreams and visions.”

Chad works as a full-time missionary in Los Angeles with an organization called Equipnet that supports individuals who are innovators when it comes to sharing their faith.

According to his testimony on Equipnet, Chad is also working with a friend to steward a house church in LA that meets every Sunday night.
