For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

(Ephesians 6:12 NASV)

In an interview with former Fox News commentator, Tucker Carlson, country music star, John Rich, says God clearly told him to write his latest song, Revelation, the Christian Post reports.

I was at home in Nashville, not even thinking about writing a song, when suddenly it felt like a hammer hit me in the back of the head,” Rich said who wrote the Bible-inspired song in under an hour.

He believes that the purpose of this song was to counter the satanic messages currently infiltrating the music industry.

When you watch the Super Bowl halftime show or the Grammy Awards, you see them putting satanic symbolism right in your face,” Rich said.

They are practicing witchcraft on the stage right in front of you. You’re watching a football game or an award show with your kids, and now evil is coming straight at you. We’ve all seen this. Somebody has to counter that.”

Perhaps the most glaring example of this was the 2023 Grammy Awards, which many believe was little more than a “Tribute to Satan.” Sam Smith, who was a featured performer at the Award ceremony, wore satanic headgear during his performance, that was so blatant even the host joked about the heavy satanic emphasis.

For the lyrics of his song, Rich drew heavily from the Book of Revelation and the return of Christ, as we see in the words from the chorus:

Oh, revelation
I can feel it coming like a dark train running
Oh, get ready
‘Cause the King is coming
The King is coming
Oh, revelation
I can feel it coming
Like a dark train running

Oh, get ready
Cause the King is coming
The King is coming back again
The King is coming back again

Rich noted that at the same time, he released his song, American rapper, Eminem, most recent album included three songs with satanic titles, “Evil”, “Lucifer” and “Antichrist.”

“How crazy is that,” Rich added.
