With reports of transgender women dominating female sports, a recent Gallup Poll conducted in the first three weeks of May 2023 found that 69% of Americans do not believe that transgender women should be allowed to compete against biological females, Breitbart reports.

The survey also revealed that over the past two years, Americans are becoming more convinced of this, not less.

A similar poll conducted in 2021, found at that time only 62% of Americans (compared to 69% today) believed that transgender women should not be allowed to compete against biological females.

And even the percentage of Americans who supported transgender women competing in female sports has fallen. In 2021, 34% of Americans believed a person should be able to compete in whatever gender category they identify with. In this year’s, poll the percentage of Americans who agreed with this has fallen to 26%.

The Gallup Poll also noted that support for transgender women competing in female sports has even fallen among those who personally know a transgender person.
