California COVID-1984 lockdown: So how come?

California’s Democrat politicians have imposed some of the strictest lockdown rules in America. They now forbid people from going for unnecessary walks. Of course, this is being done to stop the spread of COVID-1984. READ: California Governor Issues ‘Stay at Home’ Order for Residents

So two how comes:

  1. If, the COVID-1984 pandemic is so bad how come California’s film industry exempt from the state’s lockdown orders? Are the Hollywood elite incapable of catching and spreading the virus? READ: Gavin Newsom Exempts Entertainment Industry from California’s Stay-at-Home Order
  2. And, if the COVID-1984 virus is spreading so rapidly requiring such Draconian lockdowns, how come one of the hospitals set up to handle the COVID surge now being used as a set for a Hollywood movie?

The Daily Wire explains:

As California officials warn about an impending wave of COVID-19 infections, a shuttered hospital in Los Angeles that briefly reopened in the spring to help treat an expected surge of cases now appears to be the site of a major Hollywood production.

The parking lot of the former St. Vincent Medical Center is currently filled with trailers typically used by movie studios and television production companies for on-location shoots. A truck from a company called Cinelease, which describes itself as “a market leader in lighting and grip equipment rentals,” sits nearby. Tents cover outdoor dining areas and a line of cooks, who are busy preparing food.
