California Lockdown: “You’ll never take me alive”

The lockdown lunacy in California has gone to new extremes with Democrat politicians now telling people to not leave their homes. The Western Journal told of the defiance of one Hollywood actor, Nick Searcy, who defied his mayor’s order and went for a walk vowing he would never be taken alive if authorities came for him.

The Western Journal explains:

You know the coronavirus panic pimps have gone too far when residents of liberal California are rebelling over the Democrat-controlled state’s COVID lockdowns.

Take actor Nick Searcy, who defied Los Angeles’ new stay-at-home order by walking around his neighborhood. He filmed himself during his jaunt and posted the video on Twitter.

“I went for an illegal walk. You’ll never take me alive,” he wrote.

As Searcy strolled, he quipped, “This is the dumbest time in American history.”

Some California sheriffs responded stating they won’t be enforcing the lockdowns, referring to them as “dictatorial.” READ: ‘Dictatorial’, ‘Flat Out Ridiculous’: Sheriff Speaks Out On California COVID-19 Orders, Says He Won’t Restrict ‘Civil Liberties’ AND Some California Sheriffs Won’t Enforce Newsom’s Stay-Home Order

And even progressives are finally pointing to the hypocrisy of the Democrat politicians concerning their lockdown rules. This includes a popular, a popular radio talk show host in California, Trevor Noah, who has had enough.

Breitbart explains:

“Daily Show” host Trevor Noah, usually a friend to progressives, blasted “hypocrite” Democratic leaders Thursday for not “practicing what they preach” as it pertains to abiding by coronavirus restrictions.

A slew of Democratic officials from the Golden State and Texas have been caught redhanded of late urging constituents to stay home and avoid large gatherings while flaunting such restrictions themselves.

Among the recent offenders are Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who was caught dining maskless with a group of 12 at The French Laundry in Napa last month; Democratic San Francisco Mayor London Breed, who ironically was also caught dining maskless with a large group at the same fancy restaurant; Democratic San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, who told constituents to “cancel” Thanksgiving gatherings precisely one day before he attended one; and of course, Democratic Austin, Texas, Mayor Steve Adler, who urged constituents to “stay inside” in a video he recorded while vacationing in Mexico with his family and others.
