According to NPR, six years ago an editor with Bloomberg news agency, founded by former Democrat Presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg, allegedly squashed an investigation into immense wealth of China’s communist elite.

Not only did the agency squash the news article, but according to NPR the agency first silenced, then fired the reporter behind the expose of the wealth of the Communist Party’s ruling class, that included President Xi Jinping and his family.

Some involved in the investigation allegedly received death threats because of their expose.

Apparently, Bloomberg new was concerned it would be kicked out China if it run a story that exposed the hypocrisy of the leaders of the Communist regime. Michael Bloomberg, who owns majority shares in the news agency, was mayor of New York when the story was censored.
