New York City’s ‘Get out of Jail’ free card

A man who allegedly rampaged through a McDonald’s restaurant in New York City armed with an axe, threatening people’s lives, was apparently released the next day due to the city’s soft-on-crime policy, the Daily Mail reports. The 31-year-old male, who allegedly went into a rage after being rejected by a woman in the restaurant who refused to give her phone number, was gloating the next day on Instagram that he was already out of jail. The Daily Mail provides more details: ‘They took me to the hospital and than jail. And now I’m out. Some of you want me to go to jail? Already did! Haha. So Have a great day,’ he gloated. Footage of the ensuing frenzy showed Palacios threatening customers while swinging the axe, breaking panes of glass and intimidating onlookers, following a verbal disagreement that quickly turned physical. A delivery man who witnessed the fight has since revealed that the altercation began after Palacios, who reportedly had been drinking, was spurned by the unidentified woman after asking for her number in the …

Has the Chinese Communist Party set up police stations around the world?

The British newspaper, The Telegraph, recently alleged that the Chinese Communist Party has set up 54 police stations around the world. This included London and New York City. Some are allegedly disguised as restaurants and others as real estate companies. The Washington Free Beacon provides more details: The Chinese Communist Party runs 54 police centers outside of China, 36 in Europe alone. One of the two in London claims to be a real estate company, while one in Glasgow operates in a Chinese restaurant. The expansion of these overseas police stations comes as human rights activists warn that China is harassing political dissidents on foreign soil. Some political exiles say China is misusing Interpol to bring back dissidents, including foreign nationals, the Telegraph reported. While the stations say they help Chinese travelers with paperwork, researchers have found that they are actually “hunting down and blackmailing Chinese citizens to force them to return home.” According to the human rights organization Safeguard Defenders, the centers’ activity “is all taking place under the radar,” unseen by police and the …

Pope Francis says we shouldn’t call Communist China undemocratic

Pope Francis recently caught everyone’s attention when he said he would not call Communist China undemocratic. You know the country that is being run by a communist tyrant, Xi Jinping, who nominated himself as dictator for life, and who likes throwing Christians in jail and uses other ethnic groups as slaves. Yeah, that one. Breitbart explains: ROME — Pope Francis has rejected the label “undemocratic” to describe China’s communist regime, insisting that the issue is too complex to allow for such characterizations. “I cannot get on board with calling China undemocratic; I won’t do that because it’s such a complex country,” the pontiff told journalists during his return trip from Kazakhstan to Rome Thursday. “Sure, there are things that seem undemocratic to us, that is true.” “Labeling is difficult and I’m not ready to do that, since they are impressions, so instead I try to support the path of dialogue,” he declared. READ: Pope Francis: Not Fair to Call China ‘Undemocratic’ Of course, this shouldn’t really surprise because Pope Francis is an avowed communist at …

Denmark will not be vaccinating people under 50 years of age

An odd thing is happening in Denmark. Though the government is expecting an increase in the number of COVID cases this fall in line with the upcoming flu season it will not be vaccinating anyone below the age of 50, unless they have underlining health issues. The reason is that healthy people under the age of 50 are not particularly vulnerable to the virus. The Government of Denmark explains: With the autumn vaccination programme, we aim to prevent serious illness, hospitalisation and death. The risk of becoming severely ill from covid-19 increases with age. Therefore, people who have reached the age of 50 and particularly vulnerable people will be offered vaccination. We expect that many people will be infected with covid-19 during autumn and winter. It is therefore important that the population remembers the guidance on how to prevent infection, which also applies to a number of other infectious diseases. People aged under 50 are generally not at particularly higher risk of becoming severely ill from COVID-19. In addition, younger people aged under 50 are …

Pharmaceutical bribery?

The Blaze provides details on a court case involving a doctor who was found guilty of allegedly accepting bribes from a pharmaceutical company to prescribe fentanyl. The Blaze writes: Randall Halley, a Missouri physician, was sentenced on Tuesday for accepting bribes from a drug manufacturer in exchange for prescribing fentanyl to his patients. The 65-year-old who pleaded guilty in 2021 was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison. […] Halley overprescribed fentanyl for kickbacks from the pharmaceutical company so often that he ranked highest in Missouri and 38th in the nation for sales of the drug. The physician admitted to lying on Medicare pre-approval forms to secure insurance coverage. He also admitted to providing staff with his DEA registration number so they could prescribe medications in his absence. The drug manufacturer made it appear that Halley was being paid as a speaker at various events. In reality, the physician was collecting bribes for prescribing the company’s fentanyl to his patients. Authorities discovered a direct correlation between the payments from the company and …

Did Democrat Senator issue a call to arms against the pro-life movement?

Some are accusing Hawaii’s Democrat Senator, Mazie Hirono, of issuing a call for violence against pro-life groups in a speech in the US Senate on Wednesday, Sept 14, 2022. The Blaze provides the details: Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii said she was issuing “literally a call to arms” against the pro-life movement in a speech on the Senate floor Wednesday. “When I hear my colleagues talking about how, you know, it should be states’ rights, or government should not be telling us what to do, the word ‘hypocrites,’ it doesn’t even go far enough to call them out on what they’re doing,” said Hirono during her speech. “This is an outright attack on women in this country. That is how I see it.” […] Hirono ended her speech with the odd call to arms. “Madam president, I yield the floor, but clearly, you know, this is a — literally call to arms in our country, I yield the floor,” she concluded. Oberlin College will pay $36.6 million for calling bakery racist

Oberlin College has finally agreed to pay a $36.6 million judgment to a bakery it labelled as racist. Nearly six years ago, the son of the owner of Gibson’s Bakery in Oberlin, Ohio confronted a young black man for allegedly stealing a bottle of wine from the bakery. The young man and two of his friends who also became involved eventually pled guilty to misdemeanor charges over the incident. However, the three were also attending Oberlin College in the small town. The school has a long history of political activism, and students at the college accused the owners of the bakery of being racists and organized demonstrations and boycotts against the small business. School officials also became involved. This included providing food and cold weather clothing for the student demonstrators. The college’s former Dean also distributed a flyer accusing Gibson’s Bakery of racial profiling. The College’s Student Senate sent an email to its students condemning the Bakery and as well the college discontinued purchasing goods from the bakery. In 2017, the owners of Gibson’s Bakery …

Poll: 45% of San Franciscans have been affected by crime

A poll conducted by the San Francisco Chronicle revealed that over the past five years, 45% of the residents of the city stated that they have experience theft and 24% said that they have been threatened or experienced violence, RT reports. The same poll revealed that 65Overall, 65% stated that the city is going downhill. Of course, what else could you expect when you elect progressive politicians who believe the real victims are the criminals and are treating them with kid gloves. Realizing there is a rapid deterioration taking place in the city, its progressive lawmakers are now asking for suggestions on how to bizarrely fix a problem they created with their soft-on-crime approach to justice. Writing for the Daily Mail, David Marcus explains: In the City by the Bay, 1,700 people have died from drug overdoses since the beginning of 2020. That is nearly 700 more fatalities than the county suffered from the Covid pandemic. Mayor London Breed says she’s now ready to get serious about the problem, by putting an end to open-air drug markets, …

Food price increases set a 40-year-record in US

I was grabbing a can of soup for lunch recently and was immediately struck by how much smaller it was compared to the cans we were buying a few months ago. Food packaging is shrinking and prices are going higher. And according to a recent report by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, food price increases have set a 40-year-record in America. The Daily Caller provides the details: Food prices have increased every month of 2022, with each month since February breaking 40-year records, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). […] Cereal and other bakery products cost 16.4% more year-over-year, while dairy products rose 16.2% year-on-year, according to the BLS August report. Chicken was up 16.6%, ham and pork were up 9.2% and 6.8% respectively, while beef was an exception, increasing only 2.5%. Butter was up 24.6%, while peanut butter was up 15.2% year-on-year, according to the BLS. Packaged foods also saw significant price hikes, with frozen food increasing 18.5% year-on-year, snacks increasing 16.7% year-on-year, and spices, seasonings, condiments and sauces …

The demise of Los Angeles

Some say it was a great city once. For years, the city’s population grew, but that all ended in 2020. There is always a price that must be paid for electing, woke, left-wing politicians: For much of the 20th century, Los Angeles symbolized the future. Over the course of the century, the population grew 40-fold to nearly four million people. Conditions in LA today are bordering on the medieval. Anyone visiting some of the most famous districts of urban Los Angeles – notably downtown, Hollywood and Venice Beach – sees clear signs of destitution, including sprawling homeless encampments, vast numbers of people living in vehicles and rampant crime. Last year, a UN official compared conditions on LA’s Skid Row, a poor downtown neighbourhood, to those of Syrian refugee camps. Smash-and-grab thefts at local 7-Elevens and the persistent theft of goods from railyards suggest this is a city that has lost control to the modern version of lawless highwaymen. A couple contradictory stories from the climate change cult

Let them burn The council for the city of Vancouver has gone all teary-eyed on its purchase of an electric fire truck. Lorne Gunter explains the benefits: Vancouver is giddy about being the first city in the country to receive an all-electric fire truck. The new e-truck will cost $300,000 more than a comparable diesel model, pump 40 per cent less water and have such a short range (30 km) because of its enormous weight that it will have to have backup diesel power in case it runs out of juice on the way to a blaze. READ: GUNTER: Here are more signs of how cultist our green thinking has become Let them freeze The UN is warning Europe with the coming winter and Russia’s cuts in natural gas exports, that their green politicians should not return to fossil fuels to keep people warm. Switzerland threatens jail times for heating homes too much this winter

Interesting things are happening in Switzerland. In addition, to embracing unreliable and expensive green energy, the enlightened country also decided to purchase its natural gas, from a communist tyrant. The people of Switzerland are now paying the price for these ‘woke’ decisions. With shortages of natural gas expected this winter after Russia cut off its supply, Swiss politicians are threatening jail time for anyone who raises the temperature of their house over 19 degrees Celsius this winter. Breitbart provides the details: Under proposed legislation in the home of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Swiss lawmakers are preparing to set legal limits on the use of heating during the winter should the country face energy shortages. Under the plans, gas-heated buildings would be capped at 19C (66.2F) and water heating up to 60C (140F). Saunas and swimming pools would also be forced by government diktat to remain cold. So-called “heating sinners” in Switzerland who heat buildings above the legal limit will face daily fines of 30 francs ($30/£27) to a maximum of 3,000 francs. Fines for companies that deliberately …

Massive 7.6 earthquake hits Papua New Guinea

In his vision of the end-times, the Apostle John saw several massive earthquakes striking the earth, but John described one in Revelation 16 that would be the greatest earthquake to ever hit the world. And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty. (Revelation 16:18 NASV) In fact, of the 16 earthquakes mentioned in the Bible, seven of them are found in the Book of Revelation, so it seems they will become a theme of the end times. On Sunday, Sept 11, 2022, a large earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.6, hit the Pacific island of Papua New Guinea. There has been substantial damage reported from the quake and five deaths, which is expected to climb. Major buildings and homes suffered extensive damage, and roads now have cracks running down them. People felt the shocks 480 kms away, including those living in Australia. …

Disney-owned network releases disturbing satanic cartoon show

Parents and faith groups are expressing concerns about the release of a disturbing animated film, entitled “Little Demon”, by a network owned by Disney, FXX, CBN reports. Perhaps even more concerning than its name is the actual premise of this show. CBN provides more of the show’s details: “Little Demon,” a new animated show about a woman who mates with Satan and produces the Antichrist, is raising eyebrows and making cultural waves. But amid the cacophony of frustrated retorts to the show — which airs on the Disney-owned network FXX and stars Danny DeVito as Satan — faith leaders and media experts are sounding some consequential theological and practical alarms for parents and children alike. CBN adds this description of the show provided by the network: “Thirteen years after being impregnated by Satan, a reluctant mother, Laura, and her Antichrist daughter, Chrissy, attempt to live an ordinary life in Delaware but are constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan, who yearns for custody of his daughter’s soul,” reads the show’s description. Though FXX’s target audience is …

Canada’s push for medically assisted suicide

For those who are unaware, Canada has been providing medically assisted suicide since 2016 and is among 8 countries that fully or partially allow it, writes Susan Bates in her article for the Deseret News. “Canada’s law is considered among the most expansive, and has some of the fewest safeguards for patients,” Bates added. It is officially called Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) and according to reports, over 10,000 Canadian were given this assistance in 2021. This was a 32% increase over 2020. But there have been concerns about what is going on after a Canadian veteran stated he was pressured by an employee at Veterans Affairs Canada to use MAID to end his life. What was equally disturbing is that the man, who suffered from PTSD hadn’t brought up the issue and according to Global News, the government employee continued pushing it even after the man had said he wasn’t interested. Sharp decline in reading and math scores of 9-year-olds during pandemic

According to a report by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), young school-age children in America were severely harmed by the political decisions to lock down the country and close schools during the pandemic. The study found that there was a sharp decline in reading and math scores for nine-year-olds. Breitbart provides more details: Released by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), the new data shows nine-year-olds’ reading scores saw the steepest decline since 1990 (a full five-point drop) while math scores saw a record drop of seven points. The results were tracked by the special administration of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), which has often been referred to as the “nation’s report card.” […] Noting classroom disruption, violence, truancy, cyberbullying, and absent teachers also rose during the pandemic, Carr said a variety of factors “contextualize” the data. […] To make matters worse, students who were already struggling pre-pandemic suffered an even steeper drop compared to their counterparts, dropping an average of 12 points in reading and math. Black students dropped an average of 13 points …

Is Europe planning to forcibly ration energy?

After a sharp turn to Green energy, the European Union announced plans to force citizens to reduce the amount of energy they use at peak times of the day, morning (6 am to 9 am) and evening (5 pm to 9 pm). Coincidentally, these are the times when energy use peaks and also when the wind typically doesn’t blow, and of course, the sunshine is at its lowest levels. Meanwhile, EU manufacturers of aluminum and zinc, critical elements in today’s technology, have cut production by 50% because of soaring energy prices. Environmental groups want natural gas banned in the US

Over two dozen environmental groups recently petitioned the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to ban natural gas in the US, the Denver Gazette reports. In his article for the Gazette, Scott Weiser writes: More than two dozen environmental organizations petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency to ban the use of natural gas for home heating nationwide, arguing the federal agency must regulate “deadly pollution from heating appliances.” The petition, sponsored by the Sierra Club, claims fossil fuel-fired home furnaces, water heaters, clothes dryers and stoves emit enough nitrogen dioxide (NOx) and carbon dioxide (CO2) that they must be classified as “new stationary sources” of air pollutants, placing them in the same regulatory regime as power plants and factories. Critics suggest, that the inclusion of nitrogen oxide in the list of banned substances, would essentially eliminate the usage of natural gas across the US. If implemented, new homes would not be allowed to use natural gas. As well, owners of older homes would be required, at horrendous cost, to convert all natural gas appliances including furnaces, stoves, …

What the parole board said about the alleged murderer

Myles Sanderson, along with his brother Damien, are accused of murdering 10 people and injuring 18 on the James Bay Cree Nation and the town of Weldon in Saskatchewan, Canada on Sunday, Sept 4, 2022. Global News reports that Myles had been released by the Parole Board earlier this year. Sanderson, who was sentenced in 2018, was initially paroled in August 2021, and his parole was suspended in Nov. 2021 due to violations, Global News reports. Three months later, he was released on parole a second time, and Global News provides the details on what the parole board said about Sanderson at his second release: “To your benefit, you do seem to have maintained sobriety, obtained employment, engaged a therapist, were engaged in cultural ceremonies, had obtained a home for your family, and appeared to have been making good progress on reintegration,” the Board wrote. “It is the Board’s opinion that you will not present an undue risk to society if released on statutory release and that your release will contribute to the protection of …

Chile rejects socialist constitution

There was a plebiscite just held in Chile that would make socialism the overriding force in the country’s constitution. It was intended to replace a constitution imposed by a military dictatorship four decades earlier. The new constitution was being promoted by its left-wing president, Gabril Boric, who promised it would usher in a new era of wokeness for the country. Boric made sure that socialist activists played a key role in drawing up the new constitution. However, in the vote held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, 61.9% of Chileans rejected Boric’s socialist constitution, with only 38.1% supporting it. So what was in Boric’s new socialist constitution? Hotair explains: “It’s not that often these days that we have the chance to report on some genuinely good news, but this clearly appears to be a positive development for the people of Chile. The proposal from the socialists would have created an ocean of “free stuff” for the people and disincentivized work while offering no plan to pay for it all. France: 40% of under-35s seriously believe in witchcraft

Surveys in France reveal that there is a growing interest in witchcraft in that country, with one finding that upwards of 40% of those under the age of 35 ‘seriously’ believe in witchcraft, Breitbart reports. The surveys were conducted by Ifop, a French opinion and marketing firm, in 2020 and 2022. The 2020 survey found: Ifop’s 2022 survey reported: The problem came to light after a group blackmailed French soccer star, Paul Pogba, by accusing him of casting spells. Breitbart provides the details: Paul Pogba, a star of the French national football (soccer) squad who currently plays for Italian side Juventus, allegedly paid off a group of blackmailers, including his own brother, 100,000 euros ($100,100) in April, and claimed masked men armed with rifles threatened him in a Paris apartment the month prior. The blackmailers, believed to be childhood friends of Pogba, are said to have demanded as much as 13 million euros. The case became public after Mathias Pogba began posting tweets regarding his brother, including allegations that Paul had used witchcraft to cast spells …

France to restart all its nuclear reactors by winter

After being conned and intimidated by the environmental fanatics, France hopes to have all its nuclear reactors restarted by winter. According to France24, the country had shut down 32 of its 56 reactors. For the record, France relies on nuclear for 67% of its electricity. Only 7% of its electricity comes from natural gas, meaning the Russian-Ukraine war was having a minimal impact. Somehow, the environmental extremists convinced French politicians to include nuclear in their fight to lower CO2 emissions. Despite this, there are still concerns that there will be energy rationing this winter, as French politicians have embraced unreliable and expensive solar and wind power. French citizens may yet face rolling blackouts, where they will not have electricity for two hours at a time during the winter. Many French citizens use electricity to heat their homes. Canada: Trudeau’s anti-racist program terminated because of racism?

Earlier, this year, the Liberal government of Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, had provided taxpayer funds to Community Media Advocacy Center to develop an anti-racism strategy. However, the federal government was allegedly forced to terminate the contract with the group in late August, after tweets surfaced made by the group’s chief consultant, Laith Marouf. The Blaze provides more of the alleged details: Marouf, a Palestinian-Syrian activist, has a history of well-documented anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist comments, particularly on his now-locked Twitter account, for which the bio reads: “Decolonizing the media since 1999.” One of his tweets said: “You know all those loud mouthed bags of human feces, aka the Jewish White Supremacists; when we liberate Palestine and they have to go back to where they come from, they will return to being low voiced bitches of thier [sic] Christian/Secular White Supremacist Masters.” […] In a posting on July 8, 2022, he attacked French Canadians, writing: “French Frogs are very tasty roasted. Europe’s energy crisis is due to green energy, not war, says report

With Europeans facing skyrocketing energy prices this winter, and warnings that they will have to cut back on energy consumption if they don’t want power blackouts, everyone is blaming the Russian-Ukraine war for the shortfall. However, research by Rystad Energy suggests that the real problem is in fact the move to green energy. Over the past several years, European politicians have been shutting down fossil fuel and nuclear power plants in favour of wind and solar, which are not only less reliable, but significantly more expensive. Fox News explains: Green energy policies in Europe designed to rapidly shift the continent away from fossil fuel dependence have contributed to soaring power prices in the region. The European benchmark index measuring future electricity prices increased to a record $993 per megawatt hour (MWh) on Monday, days after prices in France and Germany surged 25%, according to European Energy Exchange data compiled by Bloomberg. By comparison, the average price of electricity in the U.S. hit $129 per MWh in June, federal data showed. […] A Reuters analysis published …

Is safe drinking water too much to ask for from a ‘woke’ mayor?

During his 2017 election campaign, Chokwe Antar Lumumba, the city’s ‘woke’ mayor, promised to transform Jackson, Mississippi into “the most radical city on the planet.” He promised a guaranteed income and an end to policing and of course urban farms. Meanwhile, the citizens of the city would just be absolutely overjoyed, if the mayor could just provide the basics, like drinking water without sewage in it. The Daily Caller explains: Chokwe Antar Lumumba, Democratic mayor of Jackson, Mississippi, promised to make the capital “the most radical city on the planet” during his 2017 campaign, but so far he’s been unable to even solve even the city’s basic infrastructure problems and the city’s running water is now unsafe to drink. He campaigned on plans to introduce universal basic income and alternatives to policing, to replace vacant lots with urban farms and to resolve chronic issues with the city’s water and roads in order to break the “cycles of humiliation” he said black residents experience in Jackson, the most heavily black large city in the U.S. Instead, …

A woman who grew up under Mao Zedong’s glorious Communist revolution that resulted in over 40 million deaths in China is warning about the dangers of socialism starting to rise its head in America. Xi Van Fleet, who fled Communist China 36 years ago, spoke of her concerns in a recent interview on Fox and Friends. Faithwire provides more details on the interview: “Today, so many Americans [are] abandoning freedom and arriving into socialism.” […] “I lived under Mao’s socialism. Oh, the California irony

It’s California, so it is to be expected. But just days after California announced that it will be banning the sale of new gas-powered personal vehicles effective 2035, Californians were asked to limit the charging of electric vehicles, because of a looming electricity shortage on the Labor Day weekend. The Blaze provides more details: California energy managers are warning that an expected heat wave over Labor Day weekend could cause blackouts and are urging state residents to conserve energy — which is bad news for electric vehicle owners. The California Independent System Operator — a non-profit that manages the power grid for 80% of California and a small part of Nevada — issued a bulletin Tuesday announcing that “extreme heat” conditions are “likely to strain the grid with increased energy demands, especially over the holiday weekend.”[…] “Set thermostats to 78 degrees or higher, avoid using large appliances and charging electric vehicles, and turn off unnecessary lights,” the ISO advised. The tyranny of ‘woke’ emails

A recent survey conducted in Canada by the Association for Canadian Studies found that the vast majority of Canadians, nearly 85%, do not add pronouns to their email byline. The survey also revealed that a slightly higher percentage, over 85%, do not believe people should be forced to add them, the National Post reports. As the National Post explains: Of respondents, 84.9 per cent say they do not add gender pronouns to emails or share at meetings and 15.1 per cent say they do. Similarly, the majority of Canadians (85.4 per cent) do not believe adding pronouns should be compulsory. However, the numbers were slightly different for those who do cite their pronouns in emails. Among this group, the clear majority believe that all Canadians should be forced to cite their pronouns in their emails: The National Post reports: Canadians who do add their pronouns to emails and share in meetings think it should be required to do so: 58.8 per cent of those that share said it should be compulsory. Tax revolt in California?

It’s hard to believe that there are actually San Franciscans talking about a tax revolt against their enlightened politicians. But there are. Apparently, among other things, small business owners are tired of having to sweep up human feces from the front of their stores, before they open their doors. The Blaze reports: Small business owners in San Francisco’s Castro District are demanding city officials take action to address the growing issues of crime, drug use, and homelessness in the area. The Castro Merchants Association sent a letter to San Francisco city officials saying members of the group plan to stop paying taxes if the city doesn’t do more to address the issues. In the letter, the association said people who are living on the streets “regularly experience psychotic episodes” and have vandalized storefronts and harassed business owners, employees, residents and tourists, reports The San Francisco Chronicle. New Jersey’s ‘holy’ war over a pier?

It’s a story on how bizarre society is getting. According to an article, in the New York Post, there has been a huge uproar over a new pier being built at Ocean Grove Beach in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The old pier was destroyed during Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and the new 500,’ $1.3 million pier being built to replace it looks like a cross from the sky. Despite the fact, the pier is being built with private money (it took ten years to raise the funds), the new pier’s design has outraged some of Ocean Grove Beach’s woke tenants. They are apparently offended by its cross shape, with some likening it to ‘Christian bullying.’ In response, CMA COO, Jamie Jackson told News12: “We make no apology for that — we love the fact that it looks like a …

The sounds of hell emanating from a Black Hole?

Most people believe that sound can’t travel in space because it is a vacuum. This isn’t completely true, because certain celestial objects, such as black holes, release gas allowing sound to travel. NASA recently released a recording of a black hole, located about 200 million light-years away: There was an immediate response on Twitter to this eerie sound, with some comparing it to hell. The Blaze explains: “Nasa, on a pleasant august sunday evening: hey wanna hear what’s surely the wailing of souls trapped inside a black hole since the beginning of human existence,” read one popular response. “Oh neat it’s the sound of demons screaming from the depths of Hell,” said Matt Walsh. “I’m not religious, but I’m starting to think that those souls sent to Hell actually end up in a black hole,” tweeted an associate professor of planetary science.
