Two other churches have won their legal battle with the state of California that has agreed to pay over $2 million in legal fees. The state paid $1.6 million to a Pentecostal church based in San Diego, South Bay United Pentecostal Church and $500,000 to a Catholic Priest, Father Trevor Burfitt.

What Jesus said about the Chinese Communist Party’s sanction of Rev. Johnnie Moore

I was reading an interesting story about Rev. Johnnie Moore’s response to the decision by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to sanction him. The move effectively bans Moore and his family from entering Communist China, Hong Kong and Macao, a former Portuguese controlled city on the coast of China. Rev. Moore is an evangelical Christian and president of The Congress of Christian Leaders. Up to a few weeks ago, Moore also served on U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). He was sanctioned after USCIRF released its 2021 annual report where it condemned the Communist regime’s treatment of religious groups and sanctioned a CCP official for his violation of religious rights in the communist regime. In the report, it particularly warned of the CCP’s aggressive use of advanced surveillance technologies to control and subjugate religious minorities and as well all Chinese citizens. The announcement of CCP’s reciprocal sanction of Moore was made by The Global Times, a propaganda news outlet for the CCP. So how did Moore respond? Here is what he tweeted: He called …

The dangerous prayer that resulted in miracles

Do you want to see more answers to prayer and miracles in your life? If so I want to provide an example of a simple prayer from the Book of Acts that did exactly that. It came to mind as I was reading an article about Heidi Baker, 61, who works as a missionary in Cabo Delgado Province in Mozambique, a small country in Northern Africa along the India Ocean. Baker’s organization, Iris Global, runs orphanages and provides humanitarian aid in the province that is dominated by an Islamic extremist group called Al Shabab that has killed nearly 3,000 people through dozens of terrorist attacks since Baker established her ministry in 2017. According to Baker being a Christian makes you a target and several churches in the province have been burned to the ground in Al Shabab’s attempt to set up a Caliphate. In its most recent attack on Palma in March 2021, hundreds of terrorist stormed the town killing dozens of people and as well kidnapped children, girls for wives and boys as fighters. …

Mass murderer soon to be Iran’s new president?

According to the Western Journal, in June the next president of Iran will probably be the country’s notorious mass murderer, Ebrahim Raisi. He is an Islamic cleric that served as Iran’s deputy prosecutor in 1988 and helped oversee the execution of 30,000 political prisoners, the majority who worked with Iran’s opposition party, People’s Mujahedin Organization (PMO). They were all hung after refusing to renouncing their association PMO.

Above God? I don’t think so!

What would happen if we start calling things what they actually were? An example I thought about this morning is Pro-Choice versus Pro-Life. Those are on the Pro-Choice side make it seem like Pro-Life is bad. As if by choosing life, we are somehow destroying women. I do not understand how choosing life is a bad thing unless you don’t value life. Which of course is what abortionists do. They put the needs of the mothers over the desires of the fathers and even over the life of their unborn children. Terms such as inconvenient and unplanned are thrown around to justify murdering children. There is nothing unplanned in God’s world. God forms each one of us in the womb. Even the discarded unborn children are his creations. Yet they are destroyed. Pro-Choicers decide they know more than God and that some people’s rights and wants are more important than another person’s life. That is the essence of abortion, the convenience of a woman who doesn’t want a child. There is huge hypocrisy in a …
