A popular TikToker, Alex in the Ordinary, with over 900,000 followers has deleted most of her videos. They had been viewed over 52 million times.

Her name is Alexandra Ashcroft.

In a video posted on Monday, June 29, 2026, she announced she had become a Christian, stating “Jesus Christ has saved my life.”

The reason she deleted her videos is because they involved Tarot readings.

“Over the past nearly a year, my faith has become the most important thing in my life” Alexandra explained. “Through that journey, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting, questioning, praying and trying to understand my faith more and where God was starting to lead me.”

She added that it wasn’t an overnight decision.

“This has been a gradual journey that has slowly changed the way that I see my life and my faith,” she said.

Alexandra added that she will no longer be uploading content to her original account. Instead, she will be posting videos on a new TikTok channel called, “alexcourageinchrist.” As its name suggests, she will be sharing content with a Biblical message.

She invited her 933,000 followers to join her there.

Many did.

In the past couple of weeks, she quickly gained over 55,000 followers and received over 206 thousand likes in the few videos posted on her new channel.

But moving from Tarot readings to faith in Christ was a bridge too far for most of her original 933,000 followers, who so far have not made the transition. There has also been a backlash from her followers and others in the occult community.

This negative reaction may have even been the motivation for the first video Alexandra uploaded to her new TikTok channel. She talked about John 15:18, where Jesus warned His disciples, “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.”

She then discussed Christ’s crucifixion in light of the rejection she was experiencing because of her decision.

“I don’t mind when people tell lies,” she said. “I don’t mind conspiracy because nothing compares to the sacrifice that Jesus made.”

“I just want to say that any trials and any tribulation … that you are facing right now, you are loved,” Alexandra continued. “And any mockery you face right now, Jesus faced it. He faced it in a way that none of us ever will in our lives and that is not minimizing my pain, that’s not minimizing your pain.”

Despite the negativity, there have been some remarkable comments on her new videos.

Many have been struck by the change that has taken place in Alexandra’s life.

Reggy commented: “Former atheist, I’m kinda in the in between stage right now. I’m on a very slow journey with Jesus. I don’t see him or hear him the way others do and it’s discouraging but I’m still moving forward. I will be following along for your journey :)”

Enya: “As an Atheist I cannot fathom religion at all, don’t get me wrong, I like the idea of believing in something bigger than you or having faith in something to make things feel better when you’re in a dark place but no matter how low I’ve been in life, like I can’t ever imagine believing this enough to help me… so all of this is genuinely fascinating for me!”

Some added that they used to follow her for the Tarot readings, but left after they became Christians. They were now returning to follow her:
