It’s shocking but, perhaps, not unexpected considering that Gen Z is university-aged.
While most Americans support Israel in its fight against the Hamas terrorist group, according to a recent poll, a majority of Gen Z actually support Hamas, and want Israel to be exterminated, WND reports.
The poll conducted by Harvard Center for American Political Studies found that 51% of those aged 18-24, believe that the solution to the Israel-Hamas conflict is for Israel to be completely eradicated, and its territory handed over to Hamas.
When asked who they supported in the conflict, 50% of Gen Z supported Israel and the other half supported Hamas. For the remainder of the population, 81% supported Israel and only 19% supported Hamas.
In addition, while 73% of respondents labeled Hamas’ barbaric attack on Israel as genocidal, 60% of Gen Z stated their attack was justified, this included the slaughter and beheading of women and babies.
Since most of Gen Z are university-aged, it’s also not surprising that nearly 75% did not believe that calls supporting the extermination or genocide of the Jews violated University policies.
