Corinea Stanhope is a nurse who lives on a rural property near Powell River, British Columbia, Canada.

She was out riding her horse when she stumbled across the carcass of a deer on her property.

Stanhope and her grandfather decided to set up a trail camera to see if it would be visited by any animals during the night, Fox News reports.

Aside from a Bobcat that dropped by for a quick bite, Stanhope was shocked when her 76-year-old grandfather showed her the strange event that was caught by the camera.

Two people, including a scantily clad woman wearing only a loin cloth on her lower extremities, approached the corpse and appeared to be chomping down on it. They even picked up the hoof of the animal and appeared to be sniffing it.

“You can’t really tell from the photos, but the hoof was brought right up to her mouth,” Stanhope said. “I don’t know if she was kissing it, smelling or eating it, but to touch a decaying carcass like that makes me feel sick – the amount of bacteria that must have been on there.”

The duo showed up at the carcass just a few minutes after the sun went down. It was uncertain what exactly they were doing, but many have speculated that they were witches or Satanists performing some sort of ritual.
