A former drug addict recently stated that San Francisco’s syringe exchange program is doing nothing more than keeping addicts “in a state of bondage,” Fox News report.
The city’s woke council has provided 20 locations across the city that distribute syringes, pipes and tinfoil to help users maintain their addiction. The program also provides naloxone, which helps reverse overdoses.
The city’s goal is to provide a warm, safe place, without judgement, where people can safely continue living their life of addiction.
Fox News interviewed, Ricci Wynne, a former addict and drug dealer, who broke free of his addiction and now promotes drug abstinence.
“They should restart rethinking their policies here because this harm reduction site, it just doesn’t work,” Wynne said. “They need abstinence-based treatment, they need to get clean, they need help to get back on the road to recovery.”
