With many warnings of famines, food shortages, and skyrocketing food prices, the left is continuing its unprecedented attack on agriculture.
The latest comes from New Zealand’s socialist Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, who leads the country’s Labour Party. Arden plans to force farmers to pay a tax on the gaseous emissions of cattle and sheep starting in 2025 in an effort to cut CO2 emissions and stop climate change.
The BBC reports:
New Zealand has unveiled a plan to tax sheep and cattle burps in a bid to tackle one of the country’s biggest sources of greenhouse gases.
It would make it the first nation to charge farmers for the methane emissions from the animals they keep.
New Zealand is home to just over five million people, along with around 10 million cattle and 26 million sheep.
Almost half the country’s total greenhouse gas emissions come from agriculture, mainly methane.
However, agricultural emissions have previously not been included in New Zealand’s emissions trading scheme, which has been criticised by those calling for the government to do more to stop global warming.

Even if Arden completely shut down New Zealand, stopped all cars, shuttered all businesses, eliminated all farms, destroyed all businesses, and bulldozed every industry and home, it would have absolutely NO impact on the earth’s temperature.

Canada’s Socialist Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to force Canada’s western farmers to quit using fertilizer on their crops, as part of his global warming agenda.

And in England
An eco-fanatic, George Monbiot, a columnist for Britain’s left-wing newspaper, The Guardian, is calling for the government to end farming, the Daily Mail reports. If you want to end world hunger
Of course, if our socialist political leaders want to end world hunger, they should be wanting more CO2 not less, as it functions as a plant fertilizer.
Global warming quit being an environmental issue years ago and is now all politics.
