Taxing cow burps in New Zealand, the left’s attack on agriculture continues

In a bizarre move, the government of New Zealand’s socialist Prime Minster Jacinda Ardern has announced it is now going to tax cow burps as part of Ardern’s grandiose plan to tackle climate change. The government is bragging that it would be the first country in the world to implement such a tax. Farm groups are warning that such a move would mark the end of family and dairy farms and the destruction of rural New Zealand, a major part of New Zealand’s economy. Global News reports: The government has pledged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make the country carbon neutral by 2050. Part of that plan includes a pledge that it will reduce methane emissions from farm animals by 10% by 2030 and by up to 47% by 2050. Under the government’s proposed plan, farmers would start to pay for emissions in 2025, with the pricing yet to be finalized. READ: Taxing cow burps? New Zealand: Men face jail time for smuggling contraband KFC

The Blaze is reporting that two New Zealand men are facing jail time for breaking curfew when they allegedly tried to smuggle in three buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) complete with french fires and ten cups of coleslaw into the country’s capital city, Auckland. The New Zealand government has resorted to some of the most Draconian COVID lockdowns in the world, because of its abysmal failure to provide vaccines. According to reports, only 37% of New Zealanders have been fully vaccinated. Under its current lockdown, the government forbids restaurants from opening in parts of the country, including Auckland. Police first became suspicious when they saw a car travelling down a gravel road near the country’s capital, and when they approached the vehicle, it quickly turned around and sped away. Though the police proudly displayed a photo of the confiscated KFC on the hood of their car, they were unable to provide an estimated street value of the illegal food, but undoubtedly this is the most valuable haul of contraband KFC, captured this year. New Zealand locks down after one case of COVID

It’s just my opinion, but I think that the COVID pandemic has exposed the tyrant inside the hearts of many government leaders, such as New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who just ordered a strict three-day national lockdown after one person, one as is ‘1’, allegedly came down with COVID. Not surprisingly, Ardern is also leader of the country’s Labour Party and at one point was president of the International Union of Socialist Youth, that has more communist leanings, than socialist. It is a level 4 lockdown that, in New Zealand, requires the closing of all unessential businesses, shutting down schools and offices. It also involves a stay-at-home order that does not allow people to leave their homes and are not even allowed to talk to neighbours. It seems to be part of the zero COVID mandate that is becoming a faddish trend among certain elements of the political elite. It calls for a complete eradication of COVID, before a country can reopen. Most epidemiologists believe that we have to learn to live with COVID …

What caused the power outages in New Zealand?

It is still winter in New Zealand, and last night there was a major power outage in the country, leaving tens of thousands of homes without power. Apparently, they use electricity to heat their homes, and last night was one of the coldest days of the year. And one of the major electrical providers is warning that more outages may be on the way, stating that, ‘that the emergency was far from over.’ Apparently, power supplies were running tight. So what could be the cause of these electrify shortfalls? Could it be the result of a woke Prime Minister, consumed by ideology and a lack of common sense, who has the country getting 84% of its power from expensive and unreliable green energy that only works when the wind is blowing and the sun is shining? Of course, the government is also pushing electric vehicles, and the country’s energy minister was quick to point out that these green vehicles, that are often recharged overnight, were not the cause of the shortfall.
