With the invoking of the Emergency Act, Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, gave himself the power to arrest anyone associated with the trucker protests, calling for an end to the COVID mandates, without cause. He also has the power to seize the bank accounts of those who donated, supported, or attended the protest without the need for such frivolous things as a court order.
Thousands of people across Canada donated to trucker’s protests, and when they donated, it was not illegal for most of them to do that. The donation information was also obtained illegally through a hacker.
According to Mark Strahl, a Member of Parliament in Canada, this allegedly included seizing the bank account of a single mother on minimum wage:
And, allegedly, some of Trudeau’s self-described jackboots, the RCMP, were looking forward to enforcing Trudeau’s Emergency Act.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said it is looking into allegedly leaked screenshots showing Canadian authorities reportedly boasting about brute force on protesters demonstrating against Canada’s coronavirus mandates.
“Time for the protesters to hear our jackboots on the ground,” one member of RCMP Musical Ride allegedly wrote. Musical Ride is described as an RCMP group assisting “front-line police operations by building positive relationships, supporting recruiting efforts and promoting the RCMP’s image in communities in Canada.” […]
“”Don’t kick all of them out until next weeks group gets our turn,” one member of RCMP Musical Ride allegedly said in the group chat accompanied by a photo of a beer, Rebel News reported.
