COVID restrictions are falling like dominoes in Canada since the truck protests started calling for an end to the COVID mandates.
The Ontario government is the latest to announce a loosening of the COVID restrictions, including ending the need for vaccine passports effective March 1, 2022.
Ontario will be joining Saskatchewan, Alberta, Quebec, and Manitoba that have also announced plans to wind down restrictions. Both Saskatchewan and Alberta have already ended the need to show vaccine passports when out in public.
In announcing the decision, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said it is time we got on with our lives and learn to live with COVID.
