EU’s carbon tax for commoners

When the political and celebrity elite arrived at the Glasgow global warming conference at the end of October 2021, they filled the skies with their private jets and chauffeured driven cars.

I have no problem with that.

But where I have a problem is when they said that we needed to pay more in order to save the world from man-made climate change.

Of course, they were only talking about the commoners.

The Blaze reports that there was a bit of an uproar recently after the EU announced new carbon taxes on shipping, as part of its plan to slash CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030 and to reach zero carbon emissions by 2050.

It will significantly drive up the costs that we pay for goods.

However, there are some exemptions to the EU’s new shipping carbon taxes. Apparently, the yachts and luxury ships owned by the same people that flew into Glasgow on their private jets to save the planet, instead of using regularly scheduled airlines, will not have to pay the new carbon tax.
