Why did Communist China start doubling its order for COVID tests in May 2019?

In early 2020, scientists, mainstream media, health officials and politicians called any suggestion that COVID leaked out of the Wuhan Institute of Virology a ‘conspiracy theory.’

Many have since recanted.

But according to the Daily Mail, Internet 2.0 (a group of US and Australian researchers) found evidence, that the Chinese province of Hubei (where Wuhan is located), the Wuhan Institute of Virology and Wuhan University of Science and Technology, were ordering an unusual number of PCR tests and machines used to test for COVID and other diseases back in May 2019.

The publicly available information showed that the number of tests ordered for the province nearly doubled between 2018 and 2019 going from $5.7 million to $10.5 million in value.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was denying there was any outbreak, refused to let WHO officials investigate the lab and had international scientists and the West’s mainstream media coming to the CCP’s defence.

But many allege this evidence suggests that concerns about the virus emerged in May 2019, indicating that for several months the CCP was involved in a massive cover-up about the outbreak.

Most now believe, with the financial assistance of the US and Canadian governments, researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were manipulating the genes of the Coronavirus enabling it to transfer from bats to humans.
