The Blaze states that last week, the Chief Medical Officer of the Canadian province of Alberta, Deena Hinshaw, told reporters that any students or teacher who are absent from school due to illness and refuse to take a COVID test, will automatically be classified as a case of COVID.
Hinshaw told reporters:
“In some ways that is adding an additional layer of protection, because if individuals choose to not get tested for COVID but are home with an illness, they’re now counted in the list as part of that outbreak.”
So does this mean every cold, flu, case of severe allergies, or headache is now officially a case of COVID?
UPDATE: The Alberta Government has since stated this is fake news. Though it is uncertain if it is implying that Henshaw’s statement is fake news or everyone’s understanding of what she said is fake news.
Of course, we recently had a very public demonstration on how reliable the COVID tests are. READ: ‘The View’ co-hosts reportedly ‘pissed’ over their false positive COVID-19 tests — which chaotically derailed ‘important’ show featuring VP Kamala Harris
And then they wonder why people are losing their trust in health care system.
Of course, this is not just happening in Canada: here, here, here, here, here, here and here.
As we are often told, the first casualty in any war is the truth
