Christian Post recently reported on how, Dustin Tavella, recently won this year’s edition of America’s Got Talent. The sleight of hand, Christian magician won $1 million and as well an opportunity to perform live in Las Vegas.
According to several reports, he won over the audience by sharing his personal testimony of what God has done in his lives and how people need to start impacting the lives of others.
In an interview with YouTuber Rusian KD, Travella said:
“When I get to celebrate the principles of God, when I get to celebrate the things that God’s done in our lives, … that, to me, is the main thing that we want to do. [It is to] continue to be intentional with every story we get to tell in every bit of airtime.”
“We just want to help empower people, and we want to be a bridge between the church and the not-church — to get the people not in church into the church, and to get the people in the church, outside of the walls.”
Tavella and his wife, Kari, are parents to two adopted children.
One verse from the Book of Revelation has always stuck with me. We are told that one of the major weapons we have in spiritual warfare is our testimony:
11 And they overcame him [Satan] because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even[a]when faced with death. (Revelation 12:11 NASV)
