Appeasing the left-wing social media mob

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, a public relations consultant explains that Hollywood is terrified of being attacked by the left-wing mob on social media and will do anything needed in order to appease them.

The Daily Wire explains:

A crisis public relations consultant told an entertainment publication that in Hollywood “anything” that offends the political Left is a problem and that his clients go out of their way to post things on social media that will appease the online left-wing outrage mob.

The comments were featured in a story published by The Hollywood Reporter about Disney’s recent firing of conservative actress Gina Carano. The publication noted that publicists have advised their clients to “steer clear of politics, especially anything leaning right.”

“I don’t know what people at Disney personally believe or don’t believe with regard to politics, but as a corporate entity, they want to stay as trouble-free as possible. And anything that’s going to offend the left is a problem,” says crisis PR rep Juda Engelmayer. “I have clients who are making an extraordinary effort to post what the social left wants to see.”

This explains why actress Gina Carano was recently fired by Disney after she was targeted by the left-wing mob for her Conservative views. In a separate interview with the Daily Wire, Gina Carano explains what happened to her:

Actress Gina Carano responded this week to her recent dismissal by Disney after she tweeted something that critics claimed was controversial by saying that she was stunned to learn of the outrage online and that people were claiming that what she posted was anti-Semitic.

“I was in utter shock and confusion when certain people said it was antisemitic,” Carano told Bari Weiss. “Then, as I went to take it down, I noticed that the image was not the same as the one people were referencing. I was honestly confused: should I take it down, or leave it up? I still don’t know the answer to that question, because taking it down only makes the mob attack you more.”

As Carano noted in her interview taking down a post or apologizing to the mob only makes matters worse as it turns into a feeding frenzy similar to when sharks smell blood.

Some suspect the left-wing mob started targeting Carano in the fall of 2020 when she refused to play the woke game of listing her preferred pronouns on social media.
