Is the earth pulsating the Name of God?

According to an article on WND.com, the earth has been emanating a regular pulse every 26 seconds for the last several decades. We don’t know exactly how long this has been going on, but it was first noticed in the 1960s by Jack Oliver a geologist who was working for Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory.

He heard the noise that he called a ‘microseism’ but had no idea what was causing it. He also lacked the equipment to narrow down where it was coming from.

According to an article on Israel365, the pulse was essentially ignored for a dozen or so years, until another geologist, Gary Holmes, took a look at the sound in the 1980s and determined this seismic pulse was louder during storms. Then a 2006 study wondered if it was being caused by the sun warming the earth.

In 2013, geologist Garret Euler concluded, based on his study, that the pulse was originating in an area called the Bight of Bonny located in the Gulf of Guinea. Euler suggested it was being caused by waves crashing on land. Another geologist, Yingjie Xia, from Wuhan, China speculated that same year that the pulse was coming from a volcano located on an island in the Bight of Bonny.

But, nobody is really certain because there are volcanoes around the world and oceans lapping up on shore everywhere. Why would only this area be creating a pulsing sound? Why would it be so regular?

But a few Judaic scholars have come up with another theory. They focussed on the fact that the pulse takes place every 26 seconds and has been doing this for decades.

Every 26 seconds another pulse.

In Hebrew, the letters of their alphabet are also used as numbers. The context determines if the letters are to be interpreted numerically. Sometimes they use a single quote mark around the letters to indicate they are to be interpreted as numbers.

These scholars then pointed to YHWH, which is the name of God and is translated simply as I AM. They noted that this combination of letters is the equivalent of 26.

They suggested the pulse is emanating the name of God — every 26 seconds it says YHWH.

Rabbi Shaul Judelman then referred to a verse in Psalms that talks about the earth dancing and trembling before God:

Why, mountains, did you leap like rams,
    you hills, like lambs?

Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob, (Psalm 114:6-7 NIV)

Does the arrival of this pulse suggest God is stirring? Does this indicate that God’s presence is being manifested in the earth in a very intense way?

It was a decade or so before the pulse was first noticed, that Israel was reformed as a nation in 1948. This is one of the key signposts leading to Christ’s imminent return (Ezekiel 37:21-22).
