President Trump’s early release from the Walter Reed Medical Center after testing positive for COVID late last week may bring some needed perspective on the virus for people.
Reading the mainstream media, you would think that COVID is an automatic death sentence. It isn’t. President Trump is 74 years of age, arguably overweight, and by all counts susceptible to COVID, and he survived.
Trump encouraged people not to let this disease dominate our lives.
The Blaze writes:
Upon his release Monday evening from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after testing positive for the coronavirus last week, Trump released a video message telling Americans regarding COVID-19, “Don’t let it dominate you. Don’t be afraid of it. You’re gonna beat it … don’t let it take over your lives. Don’t let that happen. We have the greatest country in the world.”
Then White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, 32, also tested positive for COVID. She is a believer and of course much younger, and she is reporting NO symptoms. It’s a reminder that 80% of the people who come down with the Coronavirus show minimal to no symptoms.
Breitbart writes:
Monday, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany made an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” on the heels of her positive COVID-19 test. McEnany told FNC’s Sean Hannity that she was “feeling great” and that her case was asymptomatic.
“I’m feeling great,” she said. “I’m having no symptoms. You know, I’m very blessed to have a mild case or really just an asymptomatic case. You know, my heart goes out to all of those who have been affected by this and all those who’ve lost their lives.”

Of course, those in the mainstream media are losing it over Trump’s early release from hospital. A writer for the Washington Post suggested the Walter Reed Medical Center may need to be defunded and doctors to lose their license.
